What we are about to tell you would have been quite unbelievable to me before this journey began. Thus begins The Journey into the Myst, the first book in the Myst series. This second book in the series explores the phenomenon of the Myst, the forming and shaping of non-random patterns such as human faces, angels and animals. The authors integrate Science into the Spiritual experience, bringing to bear what the Drs. Bennets have learned through their research and educational experiences in physics, neuroscience, human systems, change, knowledge management and human development. Embracing the paralogical, patterns in the Myst are observed, felt, interpreted, analyzed and compared in terms of their physical make-up, non-randomness, intelligent sources and potential implications. Along the way, the Bennets share insights and amazing pictures reflecting the forming of the Myst.

Trends of the last few years, including global health crises, political division, and the ongoing threat to social-environmental survival, have been continually obscured by disinformation and misinformation and therefore created a need for stronger global technological media policy. It is no longer acceptable or moral to support a global communication network based only on market factors and propaganda. The Handbook of Research on Global Media’s Preternatural Influence on Global Technological Singularity, Culture, and Government views preternatural healing of the media-sphere from a variety of perspectives on the dynamic of heart-coherent entertainment. Specifically, it addresses the subject of a healthy media from a variety of fractal perspectives. Covering topics such as collective unconscious, mediated reality, and government media trust, this major reference work is an essential resource for librarians, media specialists, media analysts, sociologists, government employees, communications specialists, psychologists, researchers, educators, academicians, and students.

Part I shares the Bennets' extraordinary Journey into the Myst. As they write, "What we are about to tell you would have been quite unbelievable to me before this journey began. It is not a story of the reality either of us has known for well over our 60 and 70 years of age, but rather, the reality of dreams and fairy tales." This is the true story of a sequence of events that happened at Mountain Quest Institute, situated in a high valley of the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia. The story begins with a miracle, expanding into the capture and cataloging of thousands of pictures of electromagnetic spheres widely known as "orbs." This joyous experience became an exploration into the unknown with the emergence of what the author's fondly call the Myst, the forming and shaping of non-random patterns such as human faces, angels and animals. As this phenomenon unfolds, you will discover how the Drs. Alex and David Bennet began to observe and interact with the Myst. Part II, Patterns in the Myst, brings Science into the Spiritual experience, bringing to bear what the Drs. Along the way, the Bennets were provided amazing pictures reflecting the forming of the Myst. In Part III, The Mind and the Myst, the Bennets shift to introspection to explore the continuing impact of the Myst experience on the human psyche.

People like and seek certainty in their lives, but is uncertainty the real path or key to reality? Should we celebrate and embrace uncertainty? So let's start using all that uncertainty and applying it to every component of our very being. · Can we trust our senses or is perception deception? · Can we trust the physical objects we are seeing around us? What is the matter batter holding us all together and how does matter . . . chatter? · What is the relationship between mind and matter? Is it the case that If you don't mind, it doesn't matter? · Do we have free will or are we just a quantum puppet? · If religion is the opium of the masses, is science the amphetamine of the individual? Walter Bauer's 'Orthodoxy and Heresy in Earliest Christianity' created a stir with its argument that the teachings later condemned as heresy, in the later second century onward, were, in fact, dominant in the earliest decades of the church. This full-scale response by H. E. W. Turner has not enjoyed the attention it deserves. Turner's volume represents a learned and sophisticated restatement of the traditional view: what became official orthodoxy was taught early on by the majority of church teachers, albeit not in fully developed form.

THE "LITTLE ICE AGE": LOCAL AND GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES P. D. JONES and K. R. BRIFFA Climatic Research Unit, University of East Anglia, Norwich, NR4 7TJ, UK. This volume of Climatic Change is devoted to the study of the climate of the last 1000 years, with a major emphasis on the last few centuries. The timespan encompasses what has been referred to as the "Little Ice Age" (Bradley, 1992). This term was originally coined by glaciologists, with reference to the most recent major glacial advance of the Holocene (Bradley and Jones, 1993). Although other such advances in different parts of the world may not have been synchronous, the term "Little Ice Age" has come to be associated with the period of a widespread foreward movement of European glaciers between about 14 50 to 1850, as well as with relatively cooler temperatures. The issue of whether or not this concept is appropriate, is a major theme of many of the papers included in this volume.
