Puji serta syukur kami panjatkan Kehadirat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa yang mana telah memberikan beribu nikmat dan karunia-Nya, sehingga kami dapat menyelesaikan buku ”Pengelolaan Mandrasah Diniah Kontemporer” ini. Buku ini berhasil tersusun atas kerjasama yang sangat baik, serta atas bantuan dari pihak–pihak tertentu yang senantiasa membantu kami. Buku ini kami susun semata hanya untuk memberikan wawasan tambahan kepada para pembaca tentang wawasan pengelolaan Madrasah Diniyah. Namun dalam banyak hal, ternyata buku ini berkaitan erat dengan pengembangan mata kuliah “Manajemen Pendidikan Islam”. Penulisan buku ini, awalnya dilatar belakangi atas kebutuhan penulis dalam menyusun bahan ajar dan menyiapkan meteri ajar Manajemen Madrasah Diniyah, seiring dengan pada semester ganjil tahun akademik 2019/2020, penulis ditugasi mengajar mata kuliah Manajemen Pendidikan Madrasah Diniyah pada Jurusan Pendidikan Islam. Sehinga penyusunyapun, berusaha mendekatkan pada kurikulum dan Silabus, maka penyajian/ pembahasannya dimulai dari; Wawasan dinamika pengembangan Madrasah Diniyah, Kepepemimpinan Madrasah Diniyah, Strategi pengelolaan dan pengembangan, pengorganisasian Madrasah Dininiayah. Selanjutnya berturut-turut membahas tentang pengelolaan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan Madrasah Diniyah, pengelolaan kurikulim Madrasah Diniyah, pengelolaan pembelajaran, pengelolaan kelas, pengelolaan peserta didik, pengelolaan pembiayaan Madrasah Diniyah, pengelaan sarana prasarana Madrasah Diniyah, pengelolaan layanan khusus Madrasah Diniyah, pengelolaan hubungan Madrasah Diniyah dengan masyarakat, pengelolaan pemasaran Madrasah Diniyah, dan diakhiri dengan pengelolaan sistem informasi manajemen madrasah (EMIS) Madrasah Diniyah. Penulis menyadari bahwa, tanpa bantuan pihak lain, buku ini tidak akan selesai seperti dalam bentuknya sekarang. Dalam kesempatan ini sudah sewajarnya disampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada: (1) Ketua dan Sekretaris Jurusan/Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Program S-1-S-2 maupun S-3, yang telah mendorong dan membantu usaha penulisan buku ini; dan (2) Para mahasiswa Jurusan/Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Program S-1, Program S-2, maupun Program S-3, yang turut membantu dan mengembangkan materi buku ini, terutama melalui pertanyaan-pertanyaan kritis di kelas, dan pada bimbingan Skripsi, Tesesis dan Disertasi, serta rekan sejawat lainnya yang telah turut membantu mengumpulkan sumber-sumber rujukan yang relevan. Semoga dapat bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa dan masyarakat yang gandrung dan menciantai ilmu pengetahuan. This volume explores the way of life of the Boni community, a hunter-gatherer people that straddle the Kenya/Somali border in East Africa. The Boni converted to Islam some fifty years ago and the reasons for this, both internal and external to the community, are identified. The book argues that former indigenous religious activity, far from having died out, is now being renegotiated so as to reflect an evolving Boni self-identity in a multi-ethnic setting as well as allowing the fermentation of resistance in the face of attempts at cultural hegemony advanced by outside forces. Much of our writing re?ects a long-term commitment to the analysis of the col- gial tradition in higher education. This commitment is re?ected most strongly in Oxford and the Decline of the Collegiate Tradition (2000), which we are pleased to say will re-appear as a considerably revised second edition (Oxford, The Collegiate University: Con?ict, Consensus and Continuity) to be published by Springer in the near future. To some extent this volume, The Collegial Tradition in the Age of Mass Higher Education, is a reaction to the charge that our work has been too narrowly focussed upon the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge (Oxbridge). Not surpr- ingly, you would expect us to reject that critique, while responding constructively to it. The focus may be narrow, and although the relative presence and, more arguably, the in?uence of Oxford and Cambridge may have declined in English higher e- cation, they remain important national universities. Moreover, as the plethora of so-called world-class higher education league tables would have us believe, they also have a powerful international status. This, however, is essentially a defensive response dependent upon the alleged reputations of the two universities. This book is intent on making a more substantial argument.
