Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengkaji peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi pada siswa kelas siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 05 Lebong. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peningkatan menyusun teks deskripsi melalui pembelajaran menggunakan media mind map layak untuk materi teks deskrispi bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di kelas VII siswa SMP Negeri 05 Lebong. Proses penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dengan dua siklus, masing- masing meliputi empat tahap utama yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan nontes. Instrumen tes untuk mendapatkan skor kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi. Instrumen nontes yang digunakan peneliti adalah jurnal, panduan observasi unruk untuk memperoleh data tentang kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks dekripsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, penggunaan media mind map dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 05 Lebong Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. (1) Nilai proses pembelajaran berdasarkan aspek menyusun teks deskripsi meningkat dari siklus I sampai siklus II sebesar 90, (2) selain itu, berdasarkan tes kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi meningkat dari siklus I sampai siklus II. Kemudian dari kondisi awal ke siklus satu terjadi peningkatan sebesar 30% atau dari 30% menjadi 60%. Pada siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 25% atau dari 60% menjadi 85%. Hasil analisis di atas menunjukan bawa hipotesis tindakan pada penelitian ini sesuai dengan harapan bahwa penggunaan media mind map dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi. HAsil penelitian ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi sekolah, guru bidang studi dan siswa khususnya yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks deskripsi.

From food products to fashions and cosmetics to children’s toys, a wide range of commodities today are being marketed as “halal” (permitted, lawful) or “Islamic” to Muslim consumers both in the West and in Muslim-majority nations.
