I call Personal Electric Vehicles IEVs. That’s because people want their Electric Vehicle to be more personal. They want it to resonate with who they are (I). Can you blame them? Some call these vehicles micromobility. An IEV is like your alter ego. For some people, this would be a Tesla or a Nissan Leaf. But, IEVs are more personal. That means they’re typically smaller. Often they’re smaller or not much bigger than the driver / rider. Ask yourself these questions. If I put wheels on my feet and added some batteries for electricity, what would I transform into? How fast would I be able to go? And, how much fun could I have getting there? That’s the IEV for you. What is a Personal Electric Vehicle (IEV)? How am I defining them? #1 It’s Fully Electric: I won’t be including any Hybrid Vehicles which use fossil fuels. #2 It’s Personal: This vehicle not only gets you around, it is the definition of who you are. #3 It’s Usually for One Person: One part of whether a vehicle is personal or not, is its capacity. While personal seems to imply one person, I’m going to include vehicles which hold two. You might normally be the only person in or on your vehicle. However, every so often, you might want to or need to, take someone else along. Perhaps you never go anywhere without your BFF. So, what kind of vehicles are we talking about here? Electric Skateboards, e-bikes, Micro cars and many more. I cover IEVs that travel on the ground - on the street and off-road. I cover those that go in and under the water and those which fly. I look at vehicles which are used on the farm and in the warehouse. The best part, is that I help you create an evaluation check-list for when you buy your IEV - the personal electric vehicle that is you.

Removing toxic chemicals from a home often results in the inhabitants being better able to breathe, being sick less often, and having more energy. It takes time. But it can be accomplished step by step. Do as much as you can. And do what works for you. Then move on to the next step. You may need to come back to the first steps and perform the remaining tasks. But eventually, you will work out what works for you. You will work out what rids your home from toxic chemicals to the point that you can live at peace with your home again.

This book details the design for a smaller living space. You can adjust the plans to meet your desires and needs. If this book says to do something one way and you want to do it another way, investigate how to do it another way and then do it that way. Hopefully this idea will encourage your own ideas. And, hopefully, it will more than halve the carbon footprint of a typical home in the US.5,000 square feet may sound like a lot of space, until you realize we’re talking about land area and that 10,000 sq ft is the typical size of a city residential lot. 10,000 sq ft is a little less than 1/4 acre. So, 5,000 sq ft would be half that much or about 1/10 acre. Since we’re reducing the land area by 1/2, we should also reduce the house and the car by 1/2. The Not So Big House reduced houses to about 2000 sq ft. In this project we will go even further, reducing the house to 500 sq ft. Many starter homes, modulars, trailer homes, and two-bedroom apts are 1000 sq ft. Large RV’s and Houseboats are about 1000 sq ft or less. 500 sq ft is the size of a small 1 bedroom apt or a large studio apt. We could make the house 1000 sq ft by giving it a basement or a second floor, but we want to reduce the amount of house we have to heat, cool, clean, and maintain. Some of things I’ve designed to maximize the space in your home and garage have yet to be invented. If they are never invented, there is still plenty of room in both the house and the garage. The inventions just give you that much more space. One of these inventions is the car. The car is a modular car, meaning it comes in pieces or modules which can be easily taken apart and put back together. The main module or cab of the car holds 2 people and a few groceries. Most of the time, the only module you need is the main module. The other two modules are a back seat, and an enclosed truck bed or van module. You can even attach all three modules together and still have a car that is small enough to fit easily in a 1 car garage.

I create my own Websites using HTML and CSS. I've blogged with WordPress for many years. However, I'm always fighting with it to get things formatted my way. I figured if I created my own blogging system, I wouldn't have to do that. So, I created my Radical Blogging Method. You can use it too. I used HTML for the webpage and CSS for the styling. I also used my very easy-to-use Javascript Library to make my webpage more expressive, and to save me a few steps. This can all be done without any Javascript, if you wish. First, I had to figure out what a blogging system does. Then I had to replicate it, well, at least the important steps. My blogging method uses HTML and CSS, just like my webpages do. So, I just write my posts, like I write my webpages. The theme is the same as the other pages of my website, with a few extra features for the Posts. In addition to the posts, there's a list of all the posts. I made that very simple to maintain. And, there's a Feed. This Feed File tells others sites about your posts and it let's readers subscribe to your post. I've set things up, so that it's easy to maintain this feed file. In this book I explain why I did this, how I did it, and how you can use it too. Then I let you draw your own conclusion. Using my Radical Blogging Method saves me time and makes blogging a joy again.
