Ziel dieser Arbeit soll es sein, sich 1. einen Überblick über die mit einem nicht oder noch nicht ausreichend verarbeiteten Trauma einhergehende spezifische Symptomatik bei PatientInnen zu verschaffen, 2. für die Therapie traumatisierter PatientInnen diagnostische Sicherheit zu gewinnen, 3. betroffene PatientInnen darüber informieren zu können (bzw. zu informieren), wie in der Traumatherapie vorgegangen wird und 4. adäquate Interventionen für die Stabilisierung vorzustellen. Eine wissenschaftlich genau recherchierte, praxisnahe und für Betroffene hilfreiche Arbeit, in der es gelingt, Perspektiven verschiedener therapeutischer Schulen für die therapeutische Arbeit nutzbar zu machen.
