Banyak orang berkata mereka percaya kepada Allah sang Pencipta dan tahu akan kasih Putra-Nya, Yesus Kristus, tapi tidak dapat memberitakan Injil dengan percaya diri. Pada kenyataannya, hanya beberapa orang Kristen saja yang memahami hati dan pemeliharaan Allah. Terlebih lagi, beberapa orang Kristen terpisah dari Allah karena mereka tidak menemukan jawaban-jawaban yang jelas terhadap pertanyaan-pertyanyaan yang terdapat dalam Alkitab, dan juga tidak memahami akan pemeliharaan baik kasih Allah yang misterius. Sebagai contoh, apa yang akan Anda katakan jika anda menemukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan berikut: “Mengapa Allah menemptakan pohon pengetahuan yang baik dan jahat dan membiarkan manusia memakan buah dari pohon itu?” “Mengapa Allah menciptakan neraka walaupun Ia mengorbankan Anak-Nya, Yesus Kristus untuk orang berdosa?” dan “Mengapa Yesus adalah satu-satunya Juruselamat?” Saya tidak dapat mengerti pemeliharaan Allah yang dalam terhadap ciptaan-Nya dan pemeliharaan-Nya yang tersembunyi di dalam salib selama beberapa tahun pertama dalam kehidupan kekristenan saya. Setelah saya dipanggil menjadi pemberita Injil, saya mulai bertanya kepada diri saya sendiri, “Bagaimana saya dapat memimpin banyak orang kepada jalan keselamatan dan memuliakan Allah?” Timbul dalam diri saya bahwa saya harus memahami seluruh kata-kata dalam Alkitab termasuk cara-cara yang sulit untuk dipahami melalui interpretasi Allah dan memberitakannya ke seluruh dunia. Saya berpuasa sesering mungkin dan berdoa untuk hal ini. Tujuh tahun berlalu sebelum Tuhan memulai memulihkan mereka. Pada tahun 1985, saat saya sedang berdoa dengan sungguh-sungguh, saya dipenuhi oleh Roh Kudus. Dia mulai menafsirkan rahasia pemeliharaan Allah yang telah tersembunyi. Itu adalah Pesan Salib. Saya mengkotbahkan hal ini setiap kebaktian Minggu pagi selama 21 minggu. Kaset-kaset yang berisi Pesan Salib telah mempengaruhi banyak orang di dalam dan luar negeri. Di mana pun Pesan Salib diberitakan, Roh Kudus bekerja seperti api yang membara. Banyak orang bertobat dari dosa-dosanya dan disembuhkan dari sakit-penyakitnya. Mereka menyisihkan keraguan tentang pemeliharaan Allah dan mendapatkan kebenaran iman dan kehidupan kekal melalui pesan ini. Jika Anda memahami dengan jelas mengapa Allah meletakkan pohon pengetahuan yang baik dan jahat di Taman Eden, Anda dapat memahami pemeliharaan-Nya terhadap perkembangan manusia dan akan mengasihi Allah dengan lebih sungguh lagi. Selanjutnya, dengan mengetahui tujuan hidup Anda yang sesungguhnya, Anda akan dapat berjuang melawan dosa-dosa Anda sampai pada penumpahan darah, cobalah dengan sebaik-baiknya untuk menyerupai hati Tuhan Yesus Kristus, dan berlakulah setia kepada-Nya hingga ajal. Pesan Salib akan menunjukkan rahasia pemeliharaan Allah yan telah tersembunyi di dalam salib dan menolong Anda meletakkan dasar yang teguh untuk memiliki kehidupan kekristenan yang baik dan benar. Dengan demikian, siapa pun yang membaca buku ini akan dapat memahami pemeliharaan Allah yang dalam, serta kasih, memiliki iman yang sejati, mendirikan serta memimpin kehidupan Kristen yang berkenan di mata Tuhan.
