Cette terre est traversée par un fleuve provenant du paradis, charriant émeraudes, saphirs, rubis..." ; ensuite suivront l'histoire de la Reine de Saba, du Pays de Pount, pays de l'encens, des royaumes de Napata, Méroé .. et enfin, une tranche d'histoire des civilisations en voie de disparition tels que Pygmées, Awa, Andamans...
