It’s been six months since Jacque Lupei was imprisoned in the dark forest with her female pack mates, wondering if they would ever see their mates again. Six months since she and Fane found out that Jen and Decebel would not be the only couple adding a new pup to the pack. Six months of peace and quiet...other than Jen running her mouth incessantly about Sally getting to go on an adventure with Peri while she has to miss all the fun. When she isn’t complaining about that, she spends her time commenting on how Jacque’s butt is getting wider by the minute. Jacque doesn’t know it, but the reprieve was about to be over. She and Fane thought his demons had been dealt with, but the nightmares are back and the In-Between is once again ripping a hole inside of her mate. Jacque can’t stand to see him hurting. She can’t stand knowing that in some way she was responsible for his struggle because she, after all, was the subject of his pain from the In-Between. She’ll do anything to stop his turmoil. So she makes a desperate decision to do what she thinks her mate needs, or doesn’t need. Others will call it insane. Jen will add her own creative descriptions, including expletives thrown in for added effect. Whatever you call it, Jacque calls it an answer to the darkness that is slowly consuming her mate. She knows that if Fane has any idea of what she has planned, he would chain her to his side. So, naturally she does what any female Canis lupus would do in her shoes--she shuts down the bond and prays that no one gets in her way. She knows he might never forgive her, but then, if her plan works, he won’t even remember her name.

Poet, musician, computer analyst, and mystic Francis Knoll, in his second collection of poetry, considers the perspective of our modern age, which is facing a stressed and dying world, while also embracing the hope and realization of another hidden destiny. Through more than forty poems, Piercing through the Silent Veil takes a close look at our apparent world and the thin veil that separates us from a heightened vision and experience of reality. Cognizant of an eventual death, the verses examine life, with its many contradictions and failings, seeking to extract a meaningful and real existence. With a sense of destiny and higher purpose, these poems intertwine the frailty and problems of human life while struggling toward an inner silence and a separate parallel universe of presence. This poetry offers a lyric, metered, and accessible style, alluring with the hope of transporting the reader to a new state of being with a direction that leads one beyond the apparent and static world of forms. Written from the unique viewpoint, this poetry collection explores the world of appearances, forces, and eventual death, considering another reality defined by spiritual existence.

A pack is made up of many members. And each of those members has his or her own story to tell. The following is a collection of four stories of the Romanian Greys and their allies. Sacred Silence I thought nothing could be eviler than Desdemona, or Reyaz, or any other villain we’ve faced down. I was wrong. I read all the books I could devour on the beauty of parenthood. I thought I was ready. But nothing could have prepared me for the hurricane of jacked-up emotional chaos otherwise known as post-partum hormones. ~Jen Resounding Silence Duty, sacrifice, service, and discipline. These were the characteristics that described Cyn, the warrior fae. Though love was out of her reach, she thought this life was all she needed. She had never been more wrong. A chance meeting with the Prince of the Elves turns her carefully structured world upside down. Piercing Silence It’s been six months since Jacque Lupei was imprisoned in the dark forest with her female pack mates, wondering if they would ever see their mates again. Forgotten Silence Filthy. Disgusting. Unworthy trash. The same thoughts keep swirling in Sally's mind. She's broken and no one can fix her--not her friends, try as they might, and not her beautiful mate. She'd thought when Costin had rescued her from Jericho's clutches, broken the spell the rogue werewolf had cast on her, and left the cur lying in bloody pieces on the floor of an Ocean Side bar, that one day she might find some peace. Perhaps, with time, she could forget the horrible things she'd done. Perhaps she could forget how she had betrayed her one true mate. Now, several weeks later, the memories and the nightmares have only grown stronger.

A Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year for Nonfiction "...an essential and engaging look at recent disability history."— Buzzfeed One of the most influential disability rights activists in US history tells her personal story of fighting for the right to receive an education, have a job, and just be human. A story of fighting to belong in a world that wasn’t built for all of us and of one woman’s activism—from the streets of Brooklyn and San Francisco to inside the halls of Washington—Being Heumann recounts Judy Heumann’s lifelong battle to achieve respect, acceptance, and inclusion in society. Paralyzed from polio at eighteen months, Judy’s struggle for equality began early in life. From fighting to attend grade school after being described as a “fire hazard” to later winning a lawsuit against the New York City school system for denying her a teacher’s license because of her paralysis, Judy’s actions set a precedent that fundamentally improved rights for disabled people. As a young woman, Judy rolled her wheelchair through the doors of the US Department of Health, Education, and Welfare in San Francisco as a leader of the Section 504 Sit-In, the longest takeover of a governmental building in US history. Working with a community of over 150 disabled activists and allies, Judy successfully pressured the Carter administration to implement protections for disabled peoples’ rights, sparking a national movement and leading to the creation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Candid, intimate, and irreverent, Judy Heumann’s memoir about resistance to exclusion invites readers to imagine and make real a world in which we all belong.

So many impossibly powerful foes have opposed the wolves and their allies over the years. Evil witches, warlocks, fae, elves, and alphas, just to name a few. And all have found the pack too strong to break. But the foe hellbent on taking down the pack now—the vampire king, Cain—has a plan that might finally tip the balance of power away from the wolves. In the middle of the desert, Cain works desperately to find a way to mix the blood of wolves and vampires. While most find the idea reprehensible, Cain believes it is the key to his victory. He imagines an army of unstoppable hybrids with the combined power of the vampires and the Canis lupus. Such a force would be unstoppable, even for the powerful of alpha of alphas, Fane Lupei. And Cain just might have found the secret ingredient necessary to bring his plans to fruition.
