It is not important for an author of a Christian book to get recognition from the status quo when dealing with God’s Word. For John the Baptist made it plain to future believers when he said, “He must increase and I must decrease.” Thus, the author’s identity will remain as his pen name, “Deacon-X.” More important is the message from the sixty-six books contained in the Bible that leads a lost soul from condemnation to justification, sanctification, and future glorification. All because Jesus died for lost sinners like you and me, of whom I am chief. This is a book not by a pastor, missionary, or Bible college professor, but an ordinary working stiff who refused to follow God’s leading and settled for second best in the things of Christ for most of my pilgrimage.
