Times of crisis expose how we experience social, physical, and emotional forms of distance. Alone with Others explores how these experiences overlap, shaping our coexistence. Departing from conventional debates that associate intimacy with affection and distance with alienation, Haustein introduces tact as a particular mode of feeling one's way and making space in the sphere of human interaction. Reconstructing tact's conceptual history from the late eighteenth century to the present, she then focuses on three specific periods of socio-political upheaval: the two World Wars, and 1968. Jahrhunderts, Note: 1,3, Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Philosophisches Institut), Veranstaltung: Mensch und Kultur, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Hausarbeit hat die Philosophische Anthropologie der deutschen Anthropologen Helmut Plessner und Arnold Gehlen zum Inhalt und Thema. Ich werde mich daher dezidiert mit den anthropologischen Konzeptionen Plessners und Gehlens auseinandersetzen, mit besonderem Augenmerk auf das Bild vom Menschen, welches die beiden Anthropologen entwerfen. Ich zitiere dabei aus der Primärliteratur. Doch der Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit soll bei einem Vergleich der Thesen Plessners und Gehlens liegen. Ich beginne meine Arbeit mit einem einführenden Text zur philosophischen Anthropologie, welche als eine Disziplin der Philosophie zu betrachten ist, wie bspw. auch die Ethik oder Metaphysik. Es gilt festzuhalten, dass es sich bei der philosophischen Anthropologie um eine relativ junge Disziplin handelt, welche im späten 19., frühen 20. Jahrhundert als Reaktion auf den Verlust von Weltorientierung entstand, d. h. vor dem Hintergrund Darwins Evolutionstheorie und der damit einhergehenden „biologischen Kränkung“ (S. Freud). Es ist jedoch zwischen philosophischer Anthropologie als Disziplin der Philosophie einerseits und Philosophischer Anthropologie andererseits als Schule, Denkrichtung innerhalb dieser Disziplin zu unterscheiden, welche im 20. Jahrhundert begründet wurde. Meine Arbeit beschäftigt sich nun mit dieser Denkrichtung, wie sie in Deutschland u. a. von H. Plessner und A. Gehlen betrieben wurde
