Este ensayo de Sandra Caponi respira una atmósfera de pospandemia cuando todavía sus consecuencias no se han extinguido, sino que, por el contrario, son bien palpables. Los sufrimientos psíquicos, que se han multiplicado a partir de la pandemia, con frecuencia son traducidos como diagnósticos psiquiátricos definidos a partir de metodologías interesadas exclusivamente en identificar síntomas con trastornos mentales, supuestamente causados por desequilibrios neuroquímicos, y que, por tanto, deben ser compensados con el psicofármaco correspondiente como «balas mágicas» para resolver problemas que no son médicos, sino sociales y –fundamentalmente– subjetivos.
