Prayer is the root of the tree that grows to become a tower; one that reaches to heaven and gives the believer access into the throne room of the all mighty God. In an effort to provide basic information that lays a foundation for personal prayer and supply the reader with information needed to build his confidence and assurance that God hears and answers each request, I have written "Prayer 101 and Beyond". Through the orchestration and guide of Satan, society has created an environment whereby believers are tied up in the affairs of life and feel overwhelmed by the cares of the world; they fail to schedule time in their day to "get alone with God". This produces weak and defenseless church goers who live in defeat. We must be aware of the tactics of the enemy; the ones that cause us to lose our focus and purpose in life. He keeps us so busy, we hardly have a moment to breathe; everything is an emergency. Our lives are out of order, our world seems to be spinning so fast, many want to find a safe place to jump off, go to hiding place and fall asleep until the madness stops.

The focus of this volume is on illuminating how local educational traditions developed in particular contexts around the world before or during the encounter with European early modern culture.
