Prayer is Gods ordained link of communication between himself and man. It is the easiest way by which man can commune with his maker. Jesus Christ himself recognized the need to be prayerful, hence his insightful teaching in Mathew 6:5-13. In the first Epistle of Paul, the apostle, to the Thessalonians, he stated in chapter 5:17, ''Pray without ceasing''. In the world we are today, things that are working need prayer to sustain them and be made better while things that are not yet working need prayer to receive divine transformation. Paul says in Ephisians.5:15-16, ''See then that you walk circumspectly not as fools but as wise. Redeeming the time, because the day are evil''. This is a generation that needs wisdom and understanding to be able to withstand the tricks and gimmicks of the devil via prayers. Any man or woman born of a woman must have one problem or the other in life. We all need prayers to unseat our long standing and stubborn problems in life. A well known characteristic of any problem whether long time or stubborn is the fact that, when left unattended, it gets bigger and bigger. Despite this known fact, many of us run away or hide from our long standing problems, especially the very stubborn ones. The key part of the problem solving knowledge is to understand that, a problem will never go away by simply hiding from it or running away. The most effective way to get rid of long standing problems including the stubborn and stalking ones is to pray them out of your life. You must recognize that, in each problem lies a unique opportunity, an opportunity for the creation of real value, and something substantive. An opportunity to become great in life again. With that being said, it does not mean you should unnecessary engulf your life with problems. It simple means, when they come along, you must not ignore them, but look into working and praying through them. And in doing so, do not overlook at the real value of 'experience and learning' that the problem will offer you, because there is always breakthrough in every problem. Dealing with long standing and stubborn problems demands that, difficult and throbbing choices must be made. They may seem painful to make, but if the problem is ignored to safeguard these choices, the outcome will be much more painful. To keep vigil in the night is not easy, but this is one of the sacrifices you must make. Do not ever hide away from problems. That is not an option for any over comer or achiever. You must face it, think it, and pray it. If a problem hits you, gear up your lions and face it through prayers promptly with absolute confidence. In addressing or working through the problem, look for the hidden opportunity and make something out of it. If nothing at all, you will still have the experience as a treasure to keep forever.
