La primera de ellas, contenidos en un ensayo de mediados de 1984 intitulado El derecho al trabajo en el Derecho al Trabajo, nos señala lo siguiente «Después de haberse considerado como una conquista definitiva la regla según la cual el salario debe pagarse exclusivamente en dinero, la fuerza de las circunstancias y la presión de los hechos impulsa a los trabajadores a aspirar y reclamar el que se le asegure en especie bienes tan fundamentales como la alimentación, la vivienda y la comida, dada la circunstancia de que la adquisición y aseguramiento de estos bienes a través del salario en dinero se van haciendo, a veces insensiblemente y a veces en forma súbita y precipitada, mucho más gravosos y mucho más difíciles de adquirir»(cursivas de quien suscribe). Treinta y dos años después cabe preguntarnos: ¿no es esto lo que ocurre hoy en nuestro país?
