This book addresses the management and flow of product-related activities and information across a manufacturing company. In mid-2019, the subject proposed for an MBA research project was to find out, for a newly appointed CEO of a machine tool manufacturer, what happened with the company's products from their beginning to their end. Key individuals in more than forty Departments, Groups and Sections were interviewed to understand the flow of product-related activities and information, and the applications supporting them. Business processes and operating procedures were examined. Interviewees were asked about the main issues they faced in their product-related activities and their suggestions for improvement.
