Modernizarea sistemelor educaționale i-a influențat pe profesori și i-a îndrumat să-și cultive exprimarea verbală pentru ca studiul limbii străine să se desfășoare „într-o baie lingvistică”, pentru ca elevii să beneficieze la nivel înalt de știința, cultura și de tradiția limbii studiate. Dezvoltarea competenței profesional-didactice, participând la cursurile de formare, în cadrul cărora sunt promovate strategiile, metodele, tehnicile, procedeele de predare, de învățare și de evaluare, poate oferi părinților încrederea și siguranța că elevii vor învăța limba străină pentru care au optat, chiar și la școala unde nu există profil matern. Dacă legăturile între popoare au fost realizate frecvent prin comunicare, învățarea limbilor străine presupune același mod de abordare. Fie că predăm limba maternă, fie că predăm o limbă străină, elevul va primi sprijinul necesar în ambele situații. În acest caz, reușita învățării, atât a limbii materne, cât și a limbii străine va depinde de exersarea constantă, corectă a pronunției și a tiparelor, dar și de talentul, ambiția și voința elevului. Prin urmare, în prezent este important ca școlile să promoveze profesori pasionați, dornici să-și împărtășească în mod voluntar cunoștințele științifice fără a fi constrânși de alți factori. Dacă elevii învață o limbă străină încă de la clasa pregătitoare și dacă profesorii sunt bine pregătiți, copiii au șanse foarte mari să reuşească. Acest exemplu poate fi observat ı̂n cazul limbii engleze. Ideea de bază care ne-a preocupat pe parcursul studiului nostru a fost să aducem limba germană la stadiul practicabil al limbii engleze.
