Programmed Sheep is an adult comedy built on my observation that humans all behave like sheep. Therefore, we are treated as such by government, politicians, employers, and the police, who all control our lives. We are being programmed to think like they want us to think, taking away our free will, freedom of speech, and even our own identity. I think most of the problems of the world are a direct result of interference in our lives by people using propaganda and lies to control the way we do think, which in turn makes us unhappy “lost sheep.” And if we oppose them, they seem to just ignore us anyway and continue with their own agenda, regardless of what the people really want. So rather than following the flock as a mindless sheep, I wanted to break free and make readers aware of the world as I see it. The book starts when I was going through mental anguish and everything started to get me down. I was feeling low, depressed, and unappreciated as a worker, so I started a self-therapy exercise, and began to write down my thoughts. The question you should ask yourself is simple: Do you control your mind or does somebody else control it for you? In Programmed Sheep, M.A. Fricker in his comedy approach brings to the surface what he sees is really going on in the world, and helps stop you from just following the flock. He is working on the sequel, Paranoid Sheep.

“Alf,” I said, “What is it you want me to do then?” He replied simply, “To spread the word of something big that’s going to happen to the sheeple of Planet Earth if they don’t buck up their ideas.” In his new book Paranoid Sheep, author Lord M. A. Fricker continues his rant against the establishment, believing that we’re all influenced to think the way we do. “I reckon it’s time for you sheeple to open your minds to an alternative way of thinking. What if all is not as it seems?” he asks. With the help of “the voice in his head” Alf, the author takes readers on an incredible journey of discovery. Along the way there are sexual encounters with aliens, incredible predictions, amazing conspiracy theories, and the man in the middle trying to make sense of it all. Paranoid Sheep(What if) also looks at what we have learnt (or not learnt) from ancient civilizations, prophecies, war and religion, all wrapped up in a uniquely written book brimming with adult humour, rage, anarchy, and ultimately, hope. Find out why we should start growing our own, hugging trees, ditch our cell phones, and discover why June 15 could be a life-changing annual event. It’s all in this highly anticipated sequel to Programmed Sheep: Do You Control Your Mind or does Somebody Else Control It for You?

Perinatal factors are critical in the 'programming' of behavioral, endocrine and immunologic outcomes of adult life. Exposure to many factors in utero can drive fetal development along specific trajectories. Perinatal factors can also affect many diverse systems that have significant implications for long-term health outcomes. The findings from basic research are so diverse and suggest implications in many different arenas. Bringing together these findings, this book explores the evidence linking the role of early life events to long-term physical and psychological health outcomes. It pulls the research together and communicates the findings to the wider scientific and clinical communities.

“SHADOW RIDERS” is the third book in this seven-book series under the title “MYSTICISM IN NEWBURYPORT.” It is the continuing unfolding story of just another soul’s re-awakening in this lifetime to the truth of his divinity. After Peter’s younger wild years growing up in Lynn, Massachusetts with heavy alcohol use and abusing all the drugs of the sixties, along with his love of riding motorcycles and physical training, he found himself crawling into the 12-step recovery program for alcoholics. Peter abused alcohol for seven years and he drank alcoholically right from his first drink. He used all the drugs of the sixties and combined both alcohol and drugs, which brought him to his knees at a very young age. He was to be involved in endless trouble with police, car and motorcycle crashes, high speed chases, arrests, and many broken bones. Peter’s journey in the recovery program began with a spiritual awakening and he began his education about the spiritual principles and the ancient wisdom from the past. While Peter was living in the Newburyport area and reading ancient writings from meditation masters, Peter was to have a profound spiritual experience and his journey back to his true self really began. Through the grace of a mediation master, Peter’s own inner spiritual energy (called kundalini) burst wide open and this energy flowed up his spine and chakras and caused incredible insights and experiences. It was later that Peter learned about ‘Kundalini Yoga’ and what had happened to him. Peter was to have profound experiences in long nights of meditation down by the Merrimac River and to have numerous past life experiences. To honor his spiritual awakening while in this historic seaport, he decided to use the name “MYSTICISM IN NEWBURYPORT” for the title. Peter’s first book was introduced at the Miami International Book Fair as a modern-day version of the Herman Hesse classic novel “SIDDHARTHA.” These tales are about all the great people from this time in Peter’s life and all the gifts and blessings that have flowed and continue to flow to this silly, Irish seeker. Peter hopes that his writings will be of some use to others or at least bring a smile to the reader’s face, about the unique life of just another seeker. This book is dedicated to Barbara Eleanor Parton. She is in the below pictures on our bikes...

Developmental Programming Of Cardiovascular Disease written by Barbara T. Alexander and has been published by Biota Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-06-01 with Science categories.

Numerous epidemiological studies report that birth weight is inversely associated with blood pressure, suggesting that slow growth during fetal life programs hypertension and increased risk for cardiovascular disease in later life. Different experimental models are used to provide proof of concept for the theory of developmental programming of cardiovascular disease, and studies in these different animal models are providing insight into the etiology of chronic disease programmed by an imbalance in nutrition during early life or exposure to maternal complications during pregnancy. Alterations in the regulatory systems key to the long-term control of blood pressure are implicated in the etiology of hypertension that results from adverse exposures during early development. Epigenetic processes are also implicated in the increased risk for programmed cardiovascular disease and the passage of programmed cardiovascular risk to the next generation. Sex, age, and early postnatal growth impact later programmed risk; programmed risk is also amplified in response to a secondary challenge that includes normal physiological processes such as pregnancy. Thus, this book will highlight how events during early life impact later cardiovascular health in a manner that is sex- and age-dependent and can be transmitted to the next generation.
