Ma la dottrina doveva la sua efficacia più alla potenza marittima britannica che alla politica americana. A quel tempo gli Stati Uniti erano ancora relativamente deboli. Questa stretta relazione è continuata fino nel ventesimo secolo, come abbiamo visto, dando luogo a una duplice potenza mondiale e la sua influenza ed aggressività è ancora sentita in tutto il mondo, ma ora subisce la sfida dalle nazioni comuniste. Giuseppe Giulio Orazi si è laureato in Scienze Naturali a Genova nel 1964. Ha insegnato nella scuola media superiore ed inferiore. Impiegato temporaneo del Ministero degli Affari Esteri, ha lavorato come insegnante ad Accra (Ghana) ed a Abu Dhabi (Emirati Arabi Uniti). “Protostoria dell’Impero anglo-americano” è la sua prima pubblicazione. Per anni si è interessato a studi di carattere revisionista nell’ambito della storia delle religioni e degli avvenimenti legati al secondo conflitto mondiale.

This volume offers a comprehensive survey of Roman villas in Italy and the Mediterranean provinces of the Roman Empire, from their origins to the collapse of the Empire. The architecture of villas could be humble or grand, and sometimes luxurious. Villas were most often farms where wine, olive oil, cereals, and manufactured goods, among other products, were produced.
