Angelo Brambilla è nato a Romano di Lombardia (Bg) il 21 Giugno 1974 e vive a Covo (Bg). Diplomato al Liceo Scientifico F. Lussana di Bergamo e laureato in Storia Moderna all’Università Statale di Milano, tra le varie esperienze lavorative si è occupato di catalogazione libri e servizio di prestito bibliotecario, ma anche di disegno tecnico, catasto, certificazione energetica e stesura perizie presso studio di architettura. Ha pubblicato la breve recensione Nei meandri della sofferenza, inserita nel volume antologico Quel libro nel cammino della mia vita, Prefazione di Giuseppe Pontiggia, Biblioteche Affori e Dergano Bovisa, Milano, 2000, oltre al breve saggio storico Le famiglie nobili di Soncino nella prima età moderna, Quaderni della Geradadda – 12, Treviglio (Bg), 2006. Nel volume I Gabbiani - Missiomundi, 30 anni di volontariato senza confini, Romano di Lombardia, 2017, ha raccontato la solidarietà concreta e il lavoro dei volontari in Africa e America meridionale. Dal 2001 scrive per il giornalino parrocchiale di Covo Il Mulino.

Le Quasi Poesie nascono da una vera e propria esigenza di condividere pensieri e profonde riflessioni scaturite dall'attenta osservazione dell'attuale panorama globale. In questi tempi in cui l'ibridazione va per la maggiore, ho proposto un modello un po' strano (forse innovativo) in cui un tentativo di poesia (al massimo sono dei versi in cui imperano le regole del caos!) converge con una scrittura più discorsiva con l'intento di instaurare un dialogo con il lettore per condividere forti sentimenti suscitati da questo mondo sempre più convulso e sempre più accelerato. In questa realtà quotidiana, all'uomo contemporaneo vengono propinati modelli di vita in cui tutto quanto di più umano c'è rischia di scomparire! Valori e concetti quali amore, compassione, grandezza e nobiltà d'animo non hanno alcun senso qualora il futuro prospetta unicamente realtà sempre più surreali, sempre più aumentate e sempre più alienanti che lasciano ampio spazio a filoni filosofici e scientifici che ormai non hanno più segreti: "l'Antiumanesimo", "il Transumanesimo" e "il Postumanesimo"… Se l'uomo è una specie in via d'estinzione, in quanto tale, abbiamo tutti il preciso dovere di salvarlo, così come il suo bellissimo Pianeta!
