Data and results from Tertiary and Quaternary Sediments of the Ontong Java Plateau Area, an unpublished Ph. D. dissertation, University of Hawaii, November 1972, are presented. Characteristics described for the Quaternary cores are: location, depth, topography of collection site, smear slide description, lithology, C(14) and paleomagnetic chronology, micropaleontology, interpretation of core continuity, statistics of the measured physical, chemical, and faunal properties, and an annotated paleoclimatic chronostratigraphy.
