L'objectif de cet ouvrage est de tenter de donner, de cette évidence empirique multiple (formes nouvelles : au pluriel), une interprétation théorique aussi unifiante que possible (d'organisation : au singulier), dans une perspective d'économie de la production. Il est d'abord procédé à une revue critique de la littérature économique sur l'organisation, entre statique et dynamique, pour à la fois mieux faire comprendre cette ambivalence de la notion d'organisation, et valider de façon plus détaillée le changement de perspective que nous proposons.
