Maitale bitxi eta anbibalentea izaki ordea lekuko hori; izan ere, biak daude, iheslea eta lekukoa, maiz bizitza bera ere zaletua den harreman ironiko itsu batean giltzapetuta. Protagonista bakarrik dago bere patu tristearen aurrean, eta zu, irakurle, espektadore izatera behartuta zaude. Seguru nobela irakurri ostean, poetak esan zuen bezala, begi eta bihotz berriez ikusiko duzula mundua.
