Do realismo capitalista ao comunismo ácido: o legado de Mark Fisher é a primeira grande sistematização da obra desse importante teórico e crítico cultural inglês, que organiza e, ao mesmo tempo, respeita o caráter rebelde do pensamento de Fisher. O livro apresenta uma panorama geral da produção de "k-punk", expondo seus principais conceitos, ideias e fases, bem como posicionando o autor dentro da arquitetura da tradição viva do Novo Marxismo, do debate aceleracionista e da crítica ao capitalismo, principalmente em sua regulação neoliberal. A obra de Fisher é assim dividida em dois grandes eixos. O primeiro, o da crítica negativa, é designado como sendo o do realismo capitalista, em que esse notório conceito é aprofundado, expandido e atualizado, tendo por base as próprias ideias de Fisher, sobretudo aquelas expostas em uma série de textos, conferências e aulas ministradas em 2016. O outro eixo, que é o da hauntologia, conceito que, nas palavras de "k-punk", seria aquilo que expõe e combate o realismo capitalista, corresponde à crítica positiva, que busca horizontes revolucionários a partir de um empuxo libidinal extraído de futuros perdidos e potencialidades ocultas do presente, culminando com ápice conceitual fisheriano que é o "comunismo ácido", nome do prefácio do livro que Fisher, por conta de sua prematura morte, não teve oportunidade de escrever. No entanto, lastreado em uma criteriosa pesquisa, na qual articulou marxismo, psicanálise e crítica cultural, Antonio Galvão foi capaz de expandir as ideias desse mítico fragmento, estruturando aquilo que pode ser chamado de "comunismo ácido ampliado", apontando os possíveis caminhos que Fisher deixou de trilhar, mas que agora ficam mais fáceis de vislumbrar, revelando novos horizontes para as lutas do presente.

Gopegui's social commitments find expression in her concern for solidarity and collective projects. These become more radical over time in response to a disenchantment with the evolution of the left in Spain and to the global impact of the capitalist economic system, giving rise to increasingly interventionist narrative strategies. The core theme of solidarity is explored in relation to the collective experience of Spain's largely consensualdemocratic transition and to the apparent erosion of collective goals in post-transition society. Gopegui's discourse of solidarity is examined through engagement with theorists of advanced modernity, including Ulrich Beck's 'risksociety' model and various contemporary reflections on the concept of solidarity. Centred on Gopegui's first four novels, the study situates analysis of these within the perspective of her later works and illuminates her artisticand intellectual trajectory by drawing on an extensive array of her non-fiction writings and personal interviews, one of which is published here for the first time.
