Realization Theory Of Discrete Time Dynamical Systems written by Tsuyoshi Matsuo and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2003-10-08 with Technology & Engineering categories.
This monograph extends Realization Theory to the discrete-time domain. It includes new results and constructs a new and very wide inclusion relation for various non-linear dynamical systems. After establishing some features of discrete-time dynamical systems it presents results concerning systems which are proposed by the authors for the first time. They introduce General Dynamical Systems, Linear Representation Systems, Affine Dynamical Systems, Pseudo Linear Systems, Almost Linear Systems and So-called Linear Systems for discrete-time and demonstrate the relationship between them and the other dynamical systems. This book is intended for graduate students and researchers who study control theory.

Finite Dimensional Linear Systems written by Roger W. Brockett and has been published by SIAM this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2015-05-26 with Mathematics categories.
Originally published in 1970, Finite Dimensional Linear Systems is a classic textbook that provides a solid foundation for learning about dynamical systems and encourages students to develop a reliable intuition for problem solving. The theory of linear systems has been the bedrock of control theory for 50 years and has served as the springboard for many significant developments, all the while remaining impervious to change. Since linearity lies at the heart of much of the mathematical analysis used in applications, a firm grounding in its central ideas is essential. This book touches upon many of the standard topics in applied mathematics, develops the theory of linear systems in a systematic way, making as much use as possible of vector ideas, and contains a number of nontrivial examples and many exercises.

This second edition comprehensively presents important tools of linear systems theory, including differential and difference equations, Laplace and Z transforms, and more. Linear Systems Theory discusses: Nonlinear and linear systems in the state space form and through the transfer function method Stability, including marginal stability, asymptotical stability, global asymptotical stability, uniform stability, uniform exponential stability, and BIBO stability Controllability Observability Canonical forms System realizations and minimal realizations, including state space approach and transfer function realizations System design Kalman filters Nonnegative systems Adaptive control Neural networks The book focuses mainly on applications in electrical engineering, but it provides examples for most branches of engineering, economics, and social sciences. What's New in the Second Edition? Case studies drawn mainly from electrical and mechanical engineering applications, replacing many of the longer case studies Expanded explanations of both linear and nonlinear systems as well as new problem sets at the end of each chapter Illustrative examples in all the chapters An introduction and analysis of new stability concepts An expanded chapter on neural networks, analyzing advances that have occurred in that field since the first edition Although more mainstream than its predecessor, this revision maintains the rigorous mathematical approach of the first edition, providing fast, efficient development of the material. Linear Systems Theory enables its reader to develop his or her capabilities for modeling dynamic phenomena, examining their properties, and applying them to real-life situations.

Realization Theory And Design Of Digital Images written by Yasumichi Hasegawa and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006-10-20 with Technology & Engineering categories.
This monograph offers a thorough examination of the description and design of digital images. Regarding digital images as special input/output relations in the authors’ previous book in the series Lecture Notes in Control and Information Sciences, the description problem of digital images is transformed into the realization problem of digital images. This book is intended for researchers and graduate students who specialize in image processing and system theory.

Mathematical systems theory is a vibrant research area in its own right. The theory has an impact in numerous applications areas including aeronautics, biological systems, chemical engineering, communication systems, financial engineering and robotics to name just a few. This volume contains survey and research articles by some of the leading researchers in mathematical systems theory. Many authors have taken special care that their articles are self-contained and accessible also to non-specialists. The articles contained in this volume are from those presented as plenary lectures, invited one hour lectures and minisymposia at the 15th International Symposium on the Mathematical Theory of Networks and Systems held at the University of Notre Dame, August 12-16, 2002.

This volume is the first of the three volume publication containing the proceedings of the 1989 International Symposium on the Mathematical Theory of Networks and Systems (MTNS-89), which was held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, June 19-23, 1989. The International Symposia MTNS focus attention on problems from system and control theory, circuit theory and signal processing, which, in general, require application of sophisticated mathematical tools, such as from function and operator theory, linear algebra and matrix theory, differential and algebraic geometry. The interaction between advanced mathematical methods and practical engineering problems of circuits, systems and control, which is typical for MTNS, turns out to be most effective and is, as these proceedings show, a continuing source of exciting advances. The first volume contains invited papers and a large selection of other symposium presentations on the general theory of deterministic and stochastic systems with an emphasis on realization and modelling. A wide variety of recent results on approximate realization and system identification, stochastic dynamical systems, discrete event systems,- o systems, singular systems and nonstandard models IS presented. Preface vi Also a few papers on applications in hydrology and hydraulics are included. The titles of the two other volumes are: Robust Control of Linear Sys tems and Nonlinear Control (volume 2) and Signal Processing. Scatter ing and Operator Theory. and Numerical Methods (volume 3). The Editors are most grateful to the about 300 reviewers for their help in the refereeing process. The Editors thank Ms. G. Bijleveld and Ms.
