Des Weiteren haben die Autoren bereits den neuen "Staatsvertrag zum Glücksspielwesen in Deutschland", den "Medienstaatsvertrag", das "Erste Gesetz zur Änderung des Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetzes", das "Gesetz über den Datenschutz und den Schutz der Privatsphäre (TTDSG)" sowie die aktuelle höchstrichterliche Rechtsprechung (u.a. zum Impressum und zum Widerspruchsrecht sowie zu Werbehinweisen von Influencern) umfassend berücksichtigt. Neu aufgenommen wurde außerdem ein eigenes Kapitel, das sich mit den Besonderheiten beim Vertrieb digitaler Produkte aufgrund umfangreicher Änderungen im BGB befasst.
