Peter Weirens was born 17 March 1815 in Osweiler, Rosport, Echternach, Luxembourg. His parents were Peter Weirens (1771-1848) and Elizabeth Oberweiss (1779-1847). He married Anna Marie Schmitt (1804-1855) 10 March 1841. They had two children. Peter married Catharina Reiter (1825-1898) 3 April 1858. They had six children. They emigrated in 1867 and settled in Minnesota. Peter died 22 October 1894 in St. Nicholas, Stearns, Minnesota. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Minnesota.
