This Book seeks to portray the agony of father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi in the last night of his life when he remembered the role played by Congressmen in the partition of the country and decided to dissolve the Indian National Congress (in short ‘Congress’) as a political outfit and drafted a resolution for dissolution and reconstitution of the same as a non political organisation under the name and style of ‘Lok Sevak Sangh’ which would work for the welfare and development of seven hundred thousand villages of the country, although he could not succeed in his plan due to his assassination on the very next day i.e. in the afternoon of 30th January, 1948.
