The meanings of life cannot be sought independent of the state of reality, thus we have to first determine the state of reality. Such is the basis put forward by Manickam Nambi in his eye-opening book The End of Knowledge: A Reduction of Philosophy. All independent inquiries into the question of one have revealed the two. Western philosophy arrived at matter and thought. Indian philosophy arrived at the manifest and unmanifest. The Chinese arrived at Ying and Yang. The scientific inquiry revealed time and space. The two categories coexist by immutable laws. The human brain is the advanced component of reality and is ordered to the reality it is programmed to recognize. The functioning of the brain is ordered to the alternating time and space instants that constitute objective reality.Science is limited by experimentation. Time is a nonphysical component of reality and therefore beyond the scope of science. The unraveling of time holds the key. Science was beguiled by duration, which was mistaken to be time and misunderstood reality. Theologians created a smokescreen called faith, beguiling themselves and mankind. They have misunderstood the mind of the Creator. When the various camouflages of nature are unraveled, we realize that such a Cosmos cannot come of itself, but has to be the outcome of deliberate superior intelligence.Manickam Nambi lives in Madurai, India. "I am motivated to write this book on three counts. I want to justify my existence. I want peace among warring mankind. I want in my own humble way to establish the promised kingdom."http: //SBPRA.com/ManickamNambi

Concept And Formalization Of Constellatory Self Unfolding written by Albrecht von Müller and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-05-29 with Science categories.

This volume offers a fundamentally different way of conceptualizing time and reality. Today, we see time predominantly as the linear-sequential order of events, and reality accordingly as consisting of facts that can be ordered along sequential time. But what if this conceptualization has us mistaking the “exhausts” for the “real thing”, i.e. if we miss the best, the actual taking place of reality as it occurs in a very differently structured, primordial form of time, the time-space of the present? In this new conceptual framework, both the sequential aspect of time and the factual aspect of reality are emergent phenomena that come into being only after reality has actually taken place. In the new view, facts are just the “traces” that the actual taking place of reality leaves behind on the co-emergent “canvas’’ of local spacetime. Local spacetime itself emerges only as facts come into being – and only facts can be adequately localized in it. But, how does reality then actually occur? It is conceived as a “constellatory self-unfolding”, characterized by strong self-referentiality, and taking place in the primordial form of time, the not yet sequentially structured “time-space of the present”. Time is seen here as an ontophainetic platform, i.e. as the stage on which reality can first occur. This view of time (and, thus, also space) seems to be very much in accordance with what we encounter in quantum physics before the so-called collapse of the wave function. In parallel, classical and relativistic physics largely operate within the factual portrait of reality, and the sequential aspect of time, respectively. Only singularities constitute an important exemption: here the canvas of local spacetime – that emerged together with factization – melts down again. In the novel framework quantum reduction and singularities can be seen and addressed as inverse transitions: In quantum physical state reduction reality “gains” the chrono-ontological format of facticity, and the sequential aspect of time becomes applicable. In singularities, by contrast, the inverse happens: Reality loses its local spacetime formation and reverts back into its primordial, pre-local shape – making in this way the use of causality relations, Boolean logic and the dichotomization of subject and object obsolete. For our understanding of the relation between quantum and relativistic physics this new view opens up fundamentally new perspectives: Both are legitimate views of time and reality, they just address very different chrono-ontological portraits, and thus should not lead us to erroneously subjugating one view under the other. The task of the book is to provide a formal framework in which this radically different view of time and reality can be addressed properly. The mathematical approach is based on the logical and topological features of the Borromean Rings. It draws upon concepts and methods of algebraic and geometric topology – especially the theory of sheaves and links, group theory, logic and information theory, in relation to the standard constructions employed in quantum mechanics and general relativity, shedding new light on the pestilential problems of their compatibility. The intended audience includes physicists, mathematicians and philosophers with an interest in the conceptual and mathematical foundations of modern physics.

Levels Of Reality In Science And Philosophy written by Stavros Ioannidis and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2022-06-08 with Science categories.

This book offers a unique perspective on one of the deepest questions about the world we live in: is reality multi-leveled, or can everything be reduced to some fundamental ‘flat’ level? This deep philosophical issue has widespread implications in philosophy, since it is fundamental to how we understand the world and the basic entities in it. Both the notion of ‘levels’ within science and their ontological implications are issues that are underexplored in the philosophical literature. The volume reconsiders the view that reality contains many levels and opens new ways to understand the ontological status of the special sciences. The book focuses on major open questions that arise at the foundations of cognitive science, cognitive psychology, brain science and other special sciences, in particular with respect to the physical foundations of these sciences. For example: Is the mental computational? Do brains compute? How can the special sciences be autonomous from physics, grounded in, or based on, physics and at the same time irreducible to physics? The book is an important read for scientists and philosophers alike. It is of interest to philosophers of science, philosophers of mind and biology interested in the notion of levels, but also to psychologists, cognitive scientists and neuroscientists investigating such issues as the precise relation of the mental to the underlying neural structures and the appropriate approach to study it.

The contributors to this 1981 volume are all concerned with scientific realism, but each author questions or rejects aspects of the way it has traditionally been discussed. There are three main foci of attention - reduction, time and modality - and the analyses bring out complexities and difficulties obscured in the standard accounts of scientific realism. The papers are powerful and original, representing some of the best in modern philosophy of science, and each were specifically commissioned for the volume. It is an excellent source book for courses on realism or the philosophy of science. The book therefore takes its place in the informal series of volumes arising from meetings sponsored by the Thyssen Foundation, which already includes C. Hookway and P. Pettit (eds.) Action and Interpretation (C. U. P. 1978) and R. Harrison (ed.) Rational Action (C. U. P. 1980).

What if there is no such thing as a real passage of time? What differences would this idea make for our conception of the world and of our lives in the world? Donald A. Crosby’s Primordial Time: Its Irreducible Reality, Human Significance, and Ecological Import defends the objective, underived reality of time and its crucial existential significance on the basis of the essential role of the qualitative, inner experiences of the passage of time and with a variety of other scientific and philosophical arguments concerning time. He also explores the urgent reality of time in relation to the ecological crisis of our day.

Is time real or is it just an illusion? Time is so basic in our lives that we sometimes take it for granted. But stop for a moment and think: What is time? How can it be defined? If you delve into the definition of the concept of time, not only will you find that the answer to these questions is no trivial matter, but also that surprisingly, no single clear answer has ever been found and agreed upon by all. Written in simple, clear language, the book takes the reader on a fascinating journey down the evolution of defining the concept of time, from antiquity and up to the 21st century. It describes how the revolutionary theories of relativity and quantum mechanics in 20th century physics opened up new directions of thought in this field. Whether you know nothing about the subject or are a professor of physics, Alon Halperin will tell you exactly what you need to know: from philosophical questions about the perception of reality, time travel, determinism and free choice, to the mysteries rooted in quantum theory, up to the complexity theory, and the strikingly fresh insights it gives rise to regarding us and the entire world.
