Oft reicht das theoretische Wissen um ein Problem nicht aus, die Lösung zu finden, woraufhin sich die Fragen an der Praxis orientieren. Die Bildung werdender Lehrkräfte verläuft auf ähnliche Weise: durch das Aneignen von Theorien im Studium und das Verstehen dieser mittels der Praxis im Schulpraktikum. Schulpraktische Erfahrungen sollen ebenso dazu dienen, Sicherheit in der Ausübung des Lehrerberufes zu erlangen. Oft zeigen erst die Erfahrungen in den Schulpraktika die Eignung für den Beruf der Lehrerin oder des Lehrers. Grund dafür sind Phänomene, bei denen Lehrende auf Widerstand stoßen und mit denen auch ich mich des Öfteren konfrontiert sehe. Die Rede ist von Konfliktsituationen und Störungen im Unterricht. [...] Auf sich allein gestellt wächst der Mensch in einer sich stetig verändernden Gesellschaft auf und begegnet auf seinem recht kurzem Weg der Schulbildung immer wieder neuen Lehrerinnen und Lehrern, deren Aufgabe es ist, ihr Wissen und ihre Lebenserfahrung an die jungen Heranwachsenden weiter zu geben.
