At the time of the Reformation, a wide variety of media has been used – print media, picture media, music, singing, sermons, etc. – especially in combinations intended for mutual reinforcement (image and text, music and text, etc.). Als Einstimmung in das Gedenkjahr "500 Jahre Reformation" hatte das Pallotti- Institut zum 5. Studientag im Oktober 2016 eingeladen unter dem Thema: " Reformation - damals und heute". Dabei wurde in ausführlicher Weise die Zeit vor der Reformation beleuchtet und nach deren Ursachen gefragt, dann aber auch nach den Folgen der Reformation auf katholischer und evangelischer Seite. Auch Pallotti hatte zu seiner Zeit den Eindruck, dass es Reformen bräuchte: "Heute, wo alles durcheinander ist, alles im Fluss, alles im Umsturz ist ...". So war es eine spannende Frage, was denn bei uns heute in der Kirche erneuerungsbedürftig sei. Abschließend wandte man sich seinem Lieblingsgedanken von der "einen Herde und dem einen Hirten" zu. Könnte dies nicht ein Bild für die Zukunft der Kirche sein?
