The First International Conference on Science, Technology and Multicultural Education (ICOCIT-MUDA), initiated by Universitas Pendidikan Muhammadiyah (UNIMUDA) Sorong. It was July 25th-26th, 2019, in Sorong, West Papua, Indonesia. Currently, the Rector of UNIMUDA Sorong is Rustamadji, Ph.D; he is the first rector of the university. He encouraged the Institute of Research, and Community Service to run the academic event. Then, the committee usefully run The First ICOCIT-MUDA as the premier event since the university convert from college to university. The First International Conference ICOCIT-MUDA was the collaboration with Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Universitas Prof. Dr. Moestopo (Beragama) and Forum Dosen Indonesia, West Papua. The conference was supported by generosity of Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan RI attend as Keynote Speaker, Prof. Dr. Bahrullah Akbar. Prof. Dr. Joko Harun (Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia) presents a paper as a Keynote Speaker. Moreover, he leads the scientific committee during the paper publication preparation. Dr. Andrianysah (Vice Rector Universitas Prof. Dr. Moestopo (Beragama), also presented a paper on plenary session). The collaboration was supported by Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Malaysia (Prof. Dr Dato Yahaya Ibrahim), and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (Prof. Dr. Gamal Abdul Nasir). Both universities send their academician to present paper as keynote speakers. Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (STKIP) Muhammadiyah Sorong was established on August 19, 2004. Then, July 5, 2018 converted to Universitas Pendidikan Muhammadiyah Sorong. The Rector explained that the short name is UNIMUDA where the civitas academia is always young and the only one that they have spirit as young people.

Dewasa ini perkembangan Smartphone dan Tablet PC berbasis android telah berkembang sangat pesat, hal ini terbukti dari banyaknya vendor-vendor smarthpone yang sudah memproduksi smartphone berbasis android. Antusiasnya vendor smartphone memproduksi smartphone berbasis android dikarenakan android adalah sistem operasi mobile yang open platform karena android sendiri adalah sistem operasi untuk perangkat mobile berbasis linux yang mencakup sistem operasi, mildware dan aplikasi. Pemanfaatan SMS untuk mengirim pesan rahasia telah lebih dulu dikembangkan. Misalnya di Inggris sebuah perusahaan operator telepon selular, staellium UK, mengeluarkan layanan bernama “stealth text” yang dapat digunakan untuk mengirim pesan dengan aman, yaitu dengan cara menghapus pesan secara otomatis segera setelah 40 detik pesan dibaca atau yang dikenal dengan nama self-destruct text message. Ada juga pengamanan sms dengan menggunakan kriptografi sms yang memanfaatkan kunci untuk medekripsikan sms yang telah di enkripsi. Salah satu cara pengamanan dalam penyampaian informasi adalah dengan melakukan pengkodean terhadap informasi tersebut. Teknik pengkodean ini dikenal dengan nama kriptografi. Kriptografi merupakan seni dan ilmu untuk menjaga kerahasiaan berita. Dan dalam teknik pengkodean dikenal dua istilah yaitu enkripsi dan dekripsi, enkripsi adalah proses dimana teks asli dirubah menjadi teks rahasia dengan menggunakan kata kunci dan algoritma tertentu, sedangkan dekripsi adalah proses dimana teks rahasia dirubah kembali (Saefuddin; 2017).

Data Science merupakan suatu bidang ilmu yang (relatif) baru di Indonesia yang tujuan utamanya adalah "memahami dan menganalisis segala fenomena yang berkaitan dengan data yang bertipe terstruktur, semi terstruktur, serta tidak terstruktur", yang datang dari berbagai sumber data/datasource yangsangat beragam (meskipun saat ini sumber data yang terutama berasal dari Big Data dan/atau loT/lnternet of Things) menggunakan pengetahuan (yang terutama) Matematika, Statistika, Ilmu Informasi (Information Science), serta Ilmu Komputer (terutama Kecerdasan Buatan/AI-Artificial Intelligence). McKinsey & Company pada tahun 2018 melakukan survei tentang berapa sesungguhnya kebutuhan Data Scientist di Amerika Serikat pada tahun itu dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dibutuhkan sekitar 140.000-190.000 Data Scientist (peningkatan sekitar 6,5 kali lipat dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya). Dalam hal ini, kita juga bisa memperkirakan bahwa kebutuhan Data Scientist di Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun mendatang juga akan sangat tinggi (terutama jika kita mengingat salah satu kebijakan ekonomi pemerintah Indonesia saat ini yang pada tahun- tahun mendatang akan lebih fokus pada berbagai bentuk perekonomian digital seperti (contohnya) perdagangan barang dan jasa melalui jaringan Internet [e-Commerce]).
