Industri rumahan yaitu usaha dagang Madinah didirikan pada tahun 2010-an oleh seorang ibu rumah tangga bernama Nur Aini yang beralamat di Jorong Balai nagari Batu Balang kecamatan Harau, kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, provinsi Sumatera Barat. Dimana usaha dagang Madinah ini mengolah berbagai jenis kegiatan seperti peternakan puyuh, peternakan itik dan yang terakhir memproduksi telur asin. Dalam system manajemen pengelolaan usaha dagang Madinah langsung dipantau oleh pemilik serta memimpin itu dengan turu langsung dalam mengamati dan memantau langsung keja karyawan. Dimana karyawan terdiri dari 5 orang laki-laki dan 4 orang perempuan dengan total karyawan 9 orang termasuk dari anak kandung dari ibuk Nur Aini, dimana antara kayawan laki-laki dan perempuan memilik peranan dan fungsi masing-masing dalam membuat maupun mengelola hasil produksi.Sasaran dalam memasarkan produksi usaha dagang Madinah masih hanya pemasaran ke kota Batam. Dan keluarga yang ada di kota Batam sebagai agen pemasaran di kota Batam. Dan strategi yang biasa digunakan oleh usaha dagang Madinah ini ialah dengan beberapa cara antara lain. Dari mulut ke mulut, menggunakan agen promosi di berbagai daerah di kota Batam dengan menggunakan agen membantu dalam mempromosikan usaha ini dan membuat olahan usaha ini diketahui banyak orang.. System pembayaran dalam melakukan transaksi dengan melalui rekening, serta dalam pembayaran dalam mendistribusikan ke daerah yang cukup jauh dengan menerima pesanan terlebih dahulu dengan pembayaran kemudian
