** "Resurrecting Grace is a potent treatment of the importance of giving Jesus His rightful place in our lives. It's great material for a small group to explore the great themes of God's redemption in the life of a believer. I enjoyed the clear and compelling voice it gives to those whose lives need to bring to center-stage the work of Jesus Christ at the Cross and His glorious resurrection. The material is thoroughly Biblical but also very practical. I believe it will bless any individual or group wanting to draw nearer to Jesus Christ." - Dr. Larry Vold, Senior Pastor, 3Crosses Church, Castro Valley, California** "Resurrecting Grace is an inspiring and thought provoking Bible study series. Moreover, this series is full of nuggets of truth about God's grace and love for mankind. After each session I was left with wanting to know more and more about God's grace. I was moved by how Steve takes us on the journey with Christ after He is crucified to rising from the grave and to finally sitting down on the right hand of God the Father. This study was a refreshing reminder of how good God has been to us and that we should go out and to tell others. I highly recommend this study for everyone." - Vance Hunter, Pastor of Hospitality & Care Ministries, 3Crosses Church, Castro Valley, CaliforniaABOUT THE SERIESUnderstand God's grace that led Jesus to the cross in this fresh walk through the Easter story and the grace of Ephesians Chapter 2. It was all part of His grace-filled plan. This study illustrates the grace of God in the chronology of events that follow the crucifixion of Jesus: from His tomb, to His many appearances, to his exaltation to the right hand of the Father. Grace is demonstrated in each of 5 movements that occur after Jesus died on the cross. Many Christians have a good understanding that salvation is by grace through faith, and that there is nothing they can do to earn their salvation. However, many have fallen into the trap that once saved, they must try to maintain God's acceptance by working hard and doing the right things. They focus so much on how well they are behaving as children of God that they miss experiencing life in the reality of God's grace. In the end they become stressed out, burned out, or fed up with trying to act like they think Christians should act but never quite managing it. Tragically they usually come to believe that they will never be "good enough." This course is designed to help Christians understand what it means to be God's child, to help them receive the assurance of what makes them acceptable to God, to point out the things that don't affect their acceptance, and to encourage them to deal with any hindrances that may be stopping them from walking in the fullness of God's grace every day. The intention is that they will then be free to glorify God in their behavior, not because they feel they have to but because they want to. A natural follow-up to the Alpha or Freedom in Christ Course, The Grace Course has been developed by Freedom in Christ Ministries. The Leader's Guide provides all the material necessary to lead the course and includes PowerPoint presentations developed to make the lessons quick and easy for the leader. Participants are not required to prepare before the sessions but a Participant's Guide that emphasizes the take-away of each lesson is also available. The videos (available on Freedom In Christ Ministries video streaming service FreedomStream) are hosted by Steve Goss and Rich Miller and shows them teaching the entire course supplemented by interviews of the leaders.

Making Space For Grace written by Art McNeese and has been published by WestBow Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-04-23 with Religion categories.

Too often, grace is treated as an afterthought, even though it is foundational. A proper understanding of grace is essential to our spiritual and emotional health. That’s why it’s crucial that we make space for grace. In this inspiring book, Art McNeese explores how Christians can move from a theory of grace to living a life of grace. The author draws on his observations of thousands of people who could say the right things but who seemed to lack an internalized reality of grace to answer questions such as: • How do you learn to experience grace in the deepest part of your soul? • How do you move grace from your head to your heart? • How can you practice a grace-filled life on a daily basis? • How can you exchange perfectionism for peace? “Masterfully, Art McNeese uses the art of the pen to paint a portrait of the beauty of God’s grace on a canvas of His love. Laymen and Pastors will find Making Space for Grace instructive, enjoyable, and helpful in applying God’s Amazing Grace.” — Dr. Donald Brake, PhD, Dean Emeritus, Multnomah Biblical Seminary “Delightful! That’s the word that comes to mind as I read Art McNeese’s book on Grace. This is a practical, inspiring, attitude-changing book. It will lift your mind and soul.” — Greg Pruett, President of Pioneer Bible Translators and author of Extreme Prayer

This is the Leader Guide. Includes answers to discussion questions and fill-ins. See Student Guide for student books where discussion questions and fill-ins are left blank. The Reforming Grace Bible Study Series is the companion work to the non fiction Reforming Grace. Each of these studies are introduced in the book but are greatly expanded here in the Bible Study Series. In Part One, Reforming Liberty, the author uses quotes from Martin Luther's commentary on the book of Galatians to walk through Galatians to highlight the utter and complete freedom found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The church today has forgotten just how revolutionary the doctrine of grace was to the Reformation and the early Protestant church. With the help of Martin Luther's commentary, that revolution has been reborn. In Part Two, Reforming Repentance, the author looks at the proper biblical definition of repentance. Most people understand a superficial idea of repentance thinking it's just a change of mind from their behavior. However, (as the author describes in Reforming Grace) that is the "cultural" definition of repentance and not the accurate biblical definition. With the help of Dr. Baylis from Dallas Theological Seminary, we uncover the proper definition which is vital to understand the proper view of forgiveness. In Part Three, Reforming Work, the author looks at the proper contextual definition of a "doer of the word" from James chapter one and how that supports the truth that the Law of Liberty (chapter two) is completely opposite of the Law of Moses. If you do not understand how important freedom is to the Gospel, then you will never understand how Abraham and Rehab could be commended for their work when they both broke the Law of Moses.
