People are always interested in what's going to happen in the future. This book goes into depth as to Scripture or Scriptures which are never touched by other end-time scholars, I've studied in depth Eschatology for forty years; the Scriptures others don't or won't understand or simply pass by. My book concerns an enlightening overview into the Bible for a novice's information and a very close look into the end-time scenario, as well as a close look into the book of Revelation as others fail to see.

A number of innovative hermeneutical approaches emerged in Muslim exegetical discourse in the second half of the 20th century. Among these developments is a trend of systematic reform theology that emphasises a humanistic approach, whereby revelation is understood to be dependent not only upon its initiator, God, but also upon its recipient, Prophet Muhammad, who takes an active role in the process.Ali Akbar examines the works of four noted scholars of Islam: Fazlur Rahman (Pakistan), Abdolkarim Soroush (Iran), Muhammad Mujtahed Shabestari (Iran) and Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd (Egypt). His study shows that the consequences of taking a humanistic approach to understanding revelation are not confined to the realm of speculation about God-human relations, but also to interpreting Qur'A nic socio-political precepts. And the four scholars emerge as a distinctive group of Muslim thinkers who open up a new horizon in contemporary Islamic discourse.

In their excellent treatise, The Visionary's Handbook, authors Watts Wacker and Jim Taylor give the principles that govern the realm of visions. Simple to grasp, equally profound, they show that America's corporate world is sorely lacking in vision. The church is on the hot seat, too, when their greatest rule is applied – that the future always disrupts the present, while the present resists the future. For prophecy is never the status quo, projected into the future. And God will never give man a vision that gives the glory to man. Hal Lindsey thus errs when using technology to explain God's end-times judgments. And Tim LaHaye, content in the present, strays with agreeable fiction. But neither approach will work in explaining the very last book of the Bible. John's Revelation is the highest of visions, given to those who are exiled. Revelation Revisited thus takes the high road by taking God at his word. The result is a greater glimpse of the judgments coming upon the earth. In it, the Antichrist is revealed, with his anti-saints from hell. His prophet and mark are also disclosed, with the site of earth's last pagan kingdom. The depth of apostasy in our day is also clearly presented. For false professions, now the rule, are the link between Beast and False Prophet. And the church that yearns for prosperity here placates the kings of the earth. All concepts combine in this fast-paced book, meant for the Christian and curious. Turkey is the nation to watch. And the kingdom of Christ is well worth the wait, for those who endure tribulation.REVIEWS: “A scholarly, quality product…the obvious result of tremendous research.” Rusty Shelton, Phenix & Phenix Literary Publicists “Thank you for your book….it is excellent. Good applications.” Pastor Perry F. Rockwood, The People's Gospel Hour “I am really impressed. It is very easy to read, beautifully written, and so deep. I loved the ending.” Courtenay H., Abilene, TX

Karl Barth S Theology As A Resource For A Christian Theology Of Religions written by Sven Ensminger and has been published by Bloomsbury Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-08-28 with Religion categories.

This book uses Karl Barth's theology as a resource for Christian theology of religions. For this purpose, it examines Barth's theology under the doctrinal aspects of revelation, revelation and religion, theological anthropology and election, addressing questions such as the possibility of and context for revelation, Barth's understanding of religion, the theological approach to the human being, and soteriology. Furthermore, Barth's thought is put into conversation with other approaches in the field of theology of religions, notably Karl Rahner's inclusivism and John Hick and the pluralist paradigm. It is shown that Barth's theological system as a whole can serve as a resource for the Christian approach to and interaction with those of other faiths or no faith at all. This is achieved through maintaining a balance between the commitment to the own faith and the openness to the sovereignty of God impacting the whole of creation. Central to Barth's approach is the challenge to the Christian community to see their presuppositions challenged in the most unexpected circumstances, while looking beyond human categories to affirm the dignity bestowed upon all of humanity through the divine Yes in the person Jesus Christ. Barth's theology with its starting point in the person of Jesus Christ is advocated as a framework for the members of the Christian community as they live alongside those with a different faith from their own.

It establishes the context in which the apostle John received the revelation of the end times. Then it gives a brief description of each of the seven cities in Asia Minor - modern-day Turkey. Next, it makes a detailed study of the seven Letters Jesus addresses to those seven cities. Finally, it gives a summary of the main lessons that can be drawn from those Letters.

The author’s interpretive approach invites us to see how a vast amount of the New Testament’s eschatological material is linked directly to the Old Testament prophets. Jesus, his apostles, and the New Testament authors extracted those ancient texts, together with their imagery and linguistic style, and presented them to the Jewish nation in their own day. They served as a warning that the tragic consequences of their history, especially those of the sixth century BC, were about to be repeated in their own generation. This book will take readers on a journey of discovery, a journey that may fundamentally transform our understanding of the New Testament’s prophetic outlook. Above all, it underscores the central and universal impact of the cross and the emergence of a new, inclusive, and enduring biblical economy under the reign of Christ. Visit http//crosslights.net
