A Academia de Letras do Recôncavo, composta por 40 cadeiras, possui representantes de 14 municípios do estado da Bahia e além de outras atividades culturais, edita esta revista literária, já na sexta edição, sempre abrigando em suas páginas as produções dos seus acadêmicos e acadêmicas, distribuídas em artigos, ensaios, crônicas, contos e poesias. Neste número trazemos uma homenagem póstuma à confreira Judite Santana Barros, falecida em 31 de outubro de 2021, e ao confrade Mustafá Rosemberg de Souza, falecido no dia 19 de agosto, de 2022 na forma de necrológios, escritos por Domingos Fiaz, e Alfredo Gonçalves, contando em breves palavras as suas trajetórias na vida e na literatura. Poemas também são dedicados a ambos pelos nossos confrades e confreiras. A edição também traz artigos, ensaios, contos, crônicas e poesias que além de promoverem a visibilidade da Academia, oportunizam a divulgação de trabalhos individuais em diversas áreas do conhecimento, e que servirão de memória representativa da identidade cultural de um grupo de escritores que, reunidos no ano 22 do século 21, buscam uma relação indissociável com a sociedade e a informação.

Na seção Resenha de Livros, a novela praieira Maria de Céo de Anísio Melhor, patrono da cadeira nº 6, é comentada.
