El Imam Zain al 'Abid�n (P) expres�: Debes saber -La Misericordia de Dios sea contigo- que Dios, Todopoderoso y Majestuoso, posee derechos sobre ti que te rodean en cualquier actividad que lleves a cabo, cualquier quietud en la que te sumerjas, cualquier situaci�n en la que te encuentres, cualquier miembro que muevas, o cualquier instrumento que utilices. Algunos de estos son m�s importantes que otros.El mayor de los derechos que Dios tiene sobre ti, es aquel que �l se impone a S� Mismo, Bendito y Exaltado Sea como derecho propio y que constituye el derecho fundamental del cual derivan los dem�s. Luego est� aquello que �l te obliga a ti mismo, queabarca desde tu coronilla hasta tus pies, sobre tus distintos miembros. As�, ha puesto un derecho sobre tu vista, tus o�dos, tu lengua, tus manos, tus piernas, tu vientre y tu sexo, puesto que estos sietemiembros son los que ejecutan las acciones.Luego, ha establecido, Todopoderoso Y Majestuoso, derechos sobre tus acciones: un derecho sobre tu oraci�n, tu ayuno, tu caridad, tu ofrenda, y dem�s pr�cticas.Luego, surgen tus derechos respecto de otras personas, quienes poseen derechos que te crean obligaciones. El m�s importante de ellos es el de tus l�deres, luego el de tus subordinados seguido por los de tus parientes, de los cuales se ramifican otros.As� pues los derechos de tus l�deres son de tres tipos: el derecho de quien te dirige en el poder; el derecho de quien te dirige en el conocimiento y el de quien te administra. Todo dirigente es gu�a (Imam).Con respecto a los derechos de tus subordinados, son de tres tipos: el m�s importante es el que tiene el subordinado en el poder; luego el que tiene subordinado por la ciencia, porque el ignorante es subordinado del sabio; en tercer lugar, el del subordinado bajo la autoridad ya sea tu matrimonio o tu esclavo.Los derechos de tus parientes son muchos y est�n vinculados seg�n el grado de vinculaci�n de la consanguinidad con el parentesco. El m�s importante de ellos con respecto a ti es el de tu madre.Luego viene el de tu padre, despu�s el de tu hijo, luego el de tu hermano y as� sucesivamente en orden de preferencia. Siguen en este orden el derecho del libertador de tu esclavitud, el derecho del emancipado, el de quien te llama a la oraci�n, el de quien te gu�a en tu oraci�n, el de tu contertulio, el de tu vecino, el de tu amigo, el de tu socio, el de tus bienes materiales, el de tu deudor a qui�n le reclamas, el de tu acreedor que te reclama, el de tu frecuentador, el de tu demandante qui�n te acusa, el del demandado el que t� acusas, el de tu asesorado, el de tu asesor, el a quien t� aconsejas, el de tu consejero, el de quien es mayor que t�, el de quien es menor que t�, el de tu peticionario, el de tu interpelado, el de quien te hace da�o ya sea en palabras o en hechos, el de quien te hace el bien yasea en palabras o en hechos causando tu alegr�a, con o sin intenci�n, luego el de la gente de la comunidad en general, el de quien est�n bajo protecci�n, luego vienen los derechos corrientes, seg�n las situaciones que las causan y en la medida de las disposiciones que las motivan. �Bienaventurado sea aquel a quien Dios lo ayuda en el cumplimiento de los derechos que le impuso, le favorece y lo dirige bien!
