The cardiovascular system is the first functional organ system to develop in the vertebrate embryo. Embryonic growth and differentiation essentially depend on transport of nutrients and waste through the early vasculature, and certain events in morphogenesis are thought to be influenced by the hemodynamic forces of the beating heart. The vasculature not only serves as a 'nutrient and waste pipeline' but is also a major communication system between distant organs and tissues. The vascular endothelial cell mediates vascular growth, permeability, integrity and interactions with blood cells. In most tissues the endothelium itself is highly specialized to meet the particular needs of the tissue in terms of quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing molecules and messages. The areas covered by Morphogenesis of the Endothelium include the formation of blood vessels in embryonic tissues by vasculogenesis and angiogenesis and the differentiation of endothelium in organs. The contributors are leaders in the field of cardiovascular development, biology and pathology and have written up to date chapters on the mechanisms of blood vessel formation and function in embryos and the adult.

Mereka adalah orang-orang yang saling menjalin cinta kasih karena Allah, saling bermajelis duduk memikirkan sesuatu karena Allah, dan saling mengunjungi karena Allah semata." Aku usap batu nisan Marina,berbisik,"Atas ridha Allah SWT, insya Allah, satu di antara mereka yang berpakaian cahaya Surga itu adalah dirimu, Marina.” ------------------- Ada sebuah nama yang tidak dicatat sejarah, tapi selalu membuat sejarah. Nama itu di era 1803-1818 menjadi saksi ketersiksaan ketika santri Cirebon bernama Nairem divonis mati pada September 1818. Nama yang tidak dicatat sejarah itu, juga sulit melupakan menit-menit terakhir eksekusi Kartosuwiryo di Onrust, Pulau Seribu, pada September 1962. Bahkan ketika 12 September 1984 terjadi tragedi Priok, ia juga berada di antara drum-drum berdarah yang berisikan mayat mujahid. Nama itu adalah Marina yang mengaku keturunan keenam Nairem. Ia bersua Ketua Tim HAM Jakarta untuk meneliti apakah benar ada pelanggaran HAM dalam tragedi Priok, September 1984? Ia meyakini ada trauma berdarah di Indonesia. Ia ingin ungkap hal itu sebab ia tak ingin dicatat sebagai anak haram sejarah. Marina menculik Tandi Skober untuk meyakinkan hal itu. Marina memaksa Tandi agar menulis tentang jihad fi sabillilah di berbagai media cetak. Marina juga menuliskan skenario film tentang pelanggaran HAM trauma Priok 1984. Ia paparkan secara detail perjuangan jihad Nairem 1818. Ini membuat Indonesia terperangah, meski dalam titik terjauh paparannya menjadi kerikil tajam di sepatu komunitas tertentu. Di sini, Marina memosisikan diri di tepi ketajaman narasi sejarah yang tak terungkap. Toh, Marina berusaha mengungkap fakta dari sebuah ruang yang gelap. Ia terperangkap deret derita, tapi ia wanita pemberani seperti kakek buyutnya, Nairem. Berhasilkah Marina membukanya?

Indonesian Islam is often portrayed as being intrinsically moderate by virtue of the role that mystical Sufism played in shaping its traditions.
