Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Kinder und Jugend, Note: 1,7, Universität Paderborn, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dem Seminar „Berufliche Sozialisation“ wurde nicht nur die Sozialisation im Beruf analysiert, sondern auch die Sozialiastion für den Beruf. Dabei spielt die Schule als Sozisalisationinstanz eine bedeutende Rolle, da Kinder und Jugendliche immer mehr Zeit dort verbringen und die Schule dadurch zu ihrem zentralen Lebensraum wird. Bei dieser Arbeit handelt es sich um eine Ausarbeitung des im Seminar vorgetragendes Referates „Schulische Sozialisation“, basierend auf den Artikel von Dieter Ulich (vgl. Ulich 1991). Seine Ausführungen werden dabei durch aktuelle Beispiele und Ausführungen bekräftigt, erweitert oder widerlegt. Im Fokus liegt dabei die Selektionsfunktion der Schule und ihre Auswirkungen auf Lehrer und besonders auf Schüler und Schülerinnen. Zunächst werden deshalb kurz die Begriffe „Schulische Sozialisation“ und „Selektionsfunktion“ definiert. Im Anschluss wird zunächst die Sicht der Lehrer beschrieben, wobei auf das Verhältnis zu Schülern eingegangen wird, da diese durch die Macht der Lehrer, an der Selektion aktiv beizutragen, beeinflusst wird. Dies geschieht hauptsächlich durch die Vergabe von Noten und ihre Folgen, die ebenfalls beleuchtet werden. Der nächste Abschnitt beschäftigt sich dann mit der Sicht der Schüler, ihr Verhältnis zu anderen Schülern und insbesondere mit verschiedenen Arten von Druck, die durch die Selektion entstehen. Ulich beschreibt in seinem Artiel nicht nur die verschiedenen Sichtweisen, sondern sieht gleichzeitig das dreigliedrige Schulsystem als Förderer der Selektion. Deshalb wird in dieser Arbeit auch dieser Teil betrachtet und verschiedene Alternativen untersucht.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Kinder und Jugend, Note: 1,7, Universität Koblenz-Landau (Fachbereich 6: Kultur- und Sozialwissenschaften - Institut für Soziologie), Veranstaltung: Einführung in die Soziologie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Erarbeitung setzt sich mit der Sozialisation von Schülerinnen und Schülern im Lebensbereich Schule auseinander und stellt dabei insbesondere auf die wechselseitigen Prozesse ab, die vor allem die Beziehungen der Schüler untereinander entscheidend beeinflussen. Schule war und ist eine für Kinder und Jugendliche maßgebliche Sozialisationsinstanz, in der zukünftig durch weitreichende Umwandlung in Ganztagsschulen tendenziell mehr Zeit verbracht werden wird als dies bisher der Fall war. Thematisch richtet die Arbeit ihren übergeordneten Blick auf die Soziologie der Gruppe, so dass nach einer kurzen Vorstellung der Schule als Sozialisationsagentur in Kapitel 1 die vielfältigen gruppendynamischen Prozesse beleuchtet werden sollen. Den Kern der Arbeit stellt das dritte Kapitel dar, in dem zunächst einige theoretische, dann auch praxisbezogene Überlegungen zum Bezugsgruppenkonzept angestellt werden. Nicht nur im schulischen Kontext, sondern auch in anderen Formen von Bezugsgruppen nimmt die genannte Konzeption einen bedeutsamen Stellenwert in der Gruppensoziologie, vor allem aber auch in der modernen Sozialpsychologie ein. Sie untersucht den Einfluss sozialer Gruppen auf das Wahrnehmen, Denken und Handeln von Personen und sollte somit von Lehrkräften an Schulen und Vorschulen sowie Fachkräften auf anderen pädagogischen Tätigkeitsfeldern nicht unberücksichtigt bleiben. Es wird zu erkennen sein, dass eine Schulklasse als Ganzes ebenso wie kleinere daraus und darüber hinaus entstandene Gruppen eine beträchtliche Sozialisationswirkung auf das Individuum entfachen.

With the realization of familial deschooling in Germany, the so-called social movement of the ,Freilerner’ transgresses a taboo and is therefore under enormous pressure to justify itself. Following on from this, the reconstructive study asks what latent structures of meaning underlie the subjective crisis scenarios about the schooling of children and the ideal concepts of parents in the sense-giving justification of the family deschooling practice. In the course of this, three types of the justification for the familial practice of deschooling, namely defending, charismatizing, and escaping, are empirically established. In this way, the study not only makes an empirically based contribution to a more reflective discourse on alternative educational practices, but also pushes itself into a taboo zone of school pedagogy and educational research in Germany. Because it addresses the school as a historically consolidated, but not as an organization without alternatives for learning and educational processes of children and adolescents.
