I have been asked why The Banks of Sacramento is not inserted 3 this was nothing but an old Christy Minstrel song turned into a Shanty, and for that reason I omitted it. Most of these have disappeared beyond hope of recovery. A few have been preserved, but have been so altered in the process of preservation that they only faintly resemble the originals.
