A lot of people find that from time to time they have less money than they would like to have. At times like this people are always looking for opportunities to earn a second income. At times like these it is important to consider in what ways and from what sources you could earn some extra money. Make a list of all the things that you need extra money for bills, mortgage, and so on to determine how much extra money you will need. One important thing to take into consideration is how much time you have to devote to earning a second income.Ask yourself the question: "What could I do with a second income?"I am yet to meet someone who would turn down the chance to top up their current income. A second income could mean the difference between sending your children to private school, or sending them to the lower quality school round the corner. It could be the difference between your current Nissan and the Porsche you have always wanted. Even more important, it could give you the financial freedom to leave that job you hate so much or even cut your hours time so you have a better quality of life, it could quite literally be a lifesaver!!Now, we could all dream of the material objects a second income would bring but it is my belief that we need to look at the psychological impact it can have. Imagine the difference of mind state on a Monday morning when you awake to an alarm clock at 6am, with 15 minutes to get ready and then you rush out the door, sit in morning traffic and arrive at your stuffy office with no window with a boss instantly breathing down your neck, monitoring your emails, toilet breaks and when you are allowed to eat. A second income can put an end to that and can change your life forever. Now imagine that you wake up to your alarm clock at 9am, you lie in for a further 15 minutes and then stretch out and enjoy a nice glass of orange and healthy breakfast, open up your emails, answer any that require attention and then decide whether to play golf based on how much money you made while you were asleep? That is what a second income can eventually lead to.This book will enlighten you on the need for a second income, while preparing you for for change or overcoming change. There by providing you the right guardian to overcome any financial problems. Consequently improviing your overall well being while living a beta life.

As a result of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the world is facing one of the greatest challenges we have experienced in over a century. The economic consequences for society at large are potentially catastrophic. The health and social care sectors have reacted by providing emergency care on an unprecedented scale, while the scientific community has focused on developing new treatments and a vaccine to prevent future waves of the pandemic. Evidence is emerging to suggest that certain conditions, such as obesity and hypertension, predispose some individuals to a worse outcome if they become infected, and that women may be less likely to die from COVID-19 than men. It is also currently believed that pregnant women are at no greater risk than the general population. There is an urgent need to determine whether these early observations are correct. Furthermore, we need to be sure that pregnancy outcomes are not affected by COVID-19 and that SARS-CoV-2 is not transmitted to the fetus during pregnancy or labour, nor to the infant through breast milk. There are so many questions that need to be answered to optimise care, avoid harm, reduce anxiety amongst women and their families, and inform health professionals and policymakers. We also need to understand the unintended consequences of the global lockdown on women’s health in general. For example, have rates of domestic violence risen; to what extent has women’s mental health been affected and have women successfully adapted or devised new coping mechanisms; have women been denied access to gynaecological treatments during the lockdown, including safe abortion and, if so, with what impact on their health and wellbeing; has the female work-force suffered disproportionately in economic terms; have national and international recommendations and policies been sufficiently gender neutral; have breastfeeding rates been adversely affected; will COVID-19 make attainment of the UN SDGs more difficult, etc.? In keeping with the Scope & Mission of Frontiers in Global Women’s Health, this Research Topic aims to provide a multi-disciplinary platform to answer important COVID-19 related questions that specifically impact upon women’s health and wellbeing, particular in resource-poor settings. The Topic Editors welcome a broad range of contributions including Original Research, Reviews, Commentaries, Study Protocols and Systematic Reviews. We would like to acknowledge Dr. Nathalie MacDermott and Dr. Rhiannon George-Carey who have have acted as coordinators and have contributed to the preparation of the proposal for this Research Topic. ***Given the exceptional nature of the COVID-19 situation, Frontiers is waiving all article publishing charges for COVID-19-related research in this Research Topic. Please note that manuscripts must be submitted by the deadline of December 31st.***

The Lancet Cardiovascular Disease 2012 written by The Lancet and has been published by Elsevier Health Sciences this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-08-24 with Medical categories.

This book, featuring content from the Aug 11, 2012, issue of The Lancet, has been released to coincide with the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) meeting in Munich, Germany, which is to be held on Aug 25–29, 2012. The Lancet is strongly supportive of cardiology as can be seen from the substantial relevant content in this compilation. In 2011, The Lancet published more papers in this specialty than any other: cardiovascular research contributed about one in four of all published research papers. Featured within are three research articles on lipids and cardiovascular disease which provide balance on the role of high density lipoproteins in cardiovascular disease, and on statins in prevention of cardiac events. There are also three commissioned reviews being presented at the joint ESC–The Lancet session at the Munich meeting that are focused on hypertension. It is estimated that some 40% of the adult population around the world will have high blood pressure, and it is well established that hypertension is strongly associated with other cardiovascular outcomes. Hypertension is by no means a problem only in high-income countries—one of the reviews reports on the prevalence of high blood pressure in low-income and middle-income countries, and on specific health problems and solutions in these countries. The interrelation between hypertension and diabetes (another disease that is rapidly becoming more prevalent) is examined in a second review. In light of the high prevalence and subsequent outcomes it is important to be able to treat hypertension effectively, and the third review discusses drugs and devices that have recently reached the market or are in development. These reviews have been commissioned with the advice and help of Lars H Lindholm.
