When doctors discovered a mass in Sherry Ward's kidney, they could not say whether it was malignant. Apprehensive about radical surgery and concerned by their uncertainty, she turned elsewhere. Armed with information from five psychics, she went against the medical odds. When the psychics proved correct, Ward's interest in psychic work intensified. Seekers of the Soul is the result of Ward's inquisitive journey into the world of psychics, visionaries, and intuitives who gain information using more than the traditional senses. Here Ward presents detailed profiles of seven individuals with exceptional abilities to sense and translate what to others is "not there." After interviewing numerous psychics, Ward chose the most principled, unique and skillful among them for Seekers of the Soul. Each person profiled uses his or her gifts to provide seekers with spiritual insight, emotional wisdom, or perhaps a connection to a loved-one who has crossed over. Although each psychic or intuitive divines his or her information differently, their clients benefit from the guidance, finding information relevant to their lives. For all who are intrigued by the extra-sensory realm and want to know how to take your soul to its highest potential, you'll find Ward's research and engaging profiles replete with insight and meaning.

Excerpt from Seekers After Soul The author of this volume deems it but justice to himself and to the reading public as well, to say: There was no intention of making a book when the matter herein contained was first prepared. The chapter on "The Persistence of Ideas" is the essence of a Thesis presented a few years ago to the Faculty of Washington and Lee University for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. This, with the chapters on Plato, Kant and Hegel have since been rewritten and cast into a more popular form: they are now published for the first time. In the meantime the chapters on Job and Browning had been published in a somewhat different form from that in which they now appear, in the "Methodist Review," Nashville, Tenn. It was not easy to find a title which would adequately cover and describe the varied work of this little volume. Without any specific intention on the author's part, he found that, while stressing the salient doctrines of some of the men who had, in his estimation, influenced most the thought of the world, he had in every case selected a champion of Soul as against Matter. The men whose lives and labors are particularized in this book have been earnest seekers after that spiritual Something which lies back of mere matter, but which is manifested in and through matter. "A fantastic high-stakes adventure on a ghost ship sailing forever into eternity, where every soul is (literally) worth fighting for—what's not to love?" —Rin Chupeco, author of The Bone Witch and The Girl from the Well, on The Soul Keepers There are worse things than death. The Harbinger is lost, sunk to the bottom of an otherworldly sea. Every soul that ever died and was protected within its hold has been lost along with it. But at least that precious cargo is out of reach of the demon Urcena and her army of soul-devouring monsters. For now. The soul keepers are broken, scattered, and barely clinging to existence without their ship or any way to collect or protect the souls of the newly dead. If they are to have any hope of stopping Urcena's horrifying plans to destroy the fragile balance between living and dead, they will first have to survive long enough to locate the ghost of one of their own, who sacrificed himself to save the rest of the crew. Devon Taylor's cinematic and pulse-pounding duology comes to a thunderous conclusion in The Ghost Seekers. Praise for The Soul Keepers: "This pirate thriller starts off running and doesn’t stop ... This series starter will please teens who enjoy the ghostly tales and dark sarcasm of Neil Gaiman and Ransom Riggs." —School Library Journal

Soul Seeker written by Perspectus and has been published by Balboa Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-01-29 with Poetry categories.

A 2020 International Book Awards’ winning finalist in the spiritualism category, Soul Seeker: Reflections on a Spiritual Journey from Darkness to the Light, shares the author’s reflections on his true story from constant pain and suicidal thoughts to healing, redemption, and spirituality. The author’s reflections, shared through his prose, poetry and photography, begin with him trapped in a deep depression, resulting from a five-year battle with constant pain from an autoimmune disorder. Feeling hopeless and powerless, he hits the “darkest night of his soul” and decides to end his life. But this book is not about suicide, but rather, redemption. It begins with an awakening, visionary experience that leads to his healing and fills him with a permanent sense of well-being and an appreciation for life and living happily in the light. But in the end, he is confronted and tested with the moral dilemma of the shocking results of a half-century-old murder case. It dramatically reinforces the importance of not backsliding into the “dark night of his soul” and the belief “that without darkness, we will never find or know the true value of the light.” This story transcends one man’s journey to spiritual awakening and connection to a Higher Power and includes such things as mindfulness, meditation, spirituality, the soul, purpose and faith, messages of Mother Earth, love, truth, peace, blessings and sorrows, enlightenment, and very much more. The book also serves as an inspirational guide for others seeking their purpose in life and the meaning to existence. With clear language, well-explained concepts, this work is agile, easy to read, and full of wisdom from spiritual and metaphysical thinkers of the past two centuries. Perspectus’ reflections look at: humanity’s connection to the consciousness, energy, power, and matter in the universe; that each of our souls make up an even larger godlike consciousness or soul that is and always will be; the presence of a Higher Power within and outside of each of us; the existence of an eternal source of love, compassion, and redemption; and to never give up hope. Proceeds from the profits of this book will be used to fund a college scholarship program for economically disadvantaged students to shine eternal light on a good man struck down by the darkness of another.
