Questo libro parla delle mie emozioni, emozioni vere scritte sulla carta. Nasce dal dolore e dalla felicità, che si alternano nel mio animo. Nasce dal mio passato e dal mio presente, dalle mie riflessioni nel cuore della notte o sotto un Sole splendente. Potrete imbattervi in parole malinconiche o in versi spensierati, nell'odio o nell'amore, nel buio o nella luce. In questo libro risiedono l'amore, il ricordo e i pensieri più sinceri. Questa raccolta è il mio cuore aperto. È la mia nuova alba, quella che a tutti auguro di trovare, in un luogo, in una persona, in un sentimento, in un momento, o in sé stessi. Sono nata a San Severino Marche il primo Luglio del 2006 e vivo a Camerino, in provincia di Macerata. Fin da piccola, ho sempre provato amore per la poesia e per la scrittura, nonché per l'arte in generale, e studio al liceo classico nella mia città. Il mio sogno è quello di poter essere una scrittrice e arrivare al cuore di quante più persone possibili. Sono un'autrice emergente, ho partecipato alla pubblicazione di altre due collane poetiche e ho vinto due concorsi, uno nella mia città, “Premio Ugo Betti per i giovani 2022” e l'altro a San Severino Marche, “Poeti-Canto Festival – sezione poesia”. Ho una famiglia eccezionale, che mi sostiene in ogni attimo della mia vita.

Aprendo uno sguardo di riflessione sugli insegnamenti offerti dalle poesie che ne sono parte, ci si rende conto che, nel groviglio di sentimenti, dubbi, paure e interrogativi, l’amore, quello vero, resta la cosa più bella che ci sia, in tutte le sue forme ed è per questo che è importante, nonostante le ombre dell’anima, vincere la paura di soffrire per lanciarsi verso le novità che la vita ci riserva e ammirare l’arrivo di una nuova alba. Arrigo Gamberini nasce a Bondeno in provincia di Ferrara il 23 gennaio 1967, ma vive a Bologna da sempre. Diplomato all’ITIS “Belluzzi” a Bologna nel 1986, lavora dal 1988 come tecnico elettronico in una nota fabbrica produttrice di componentistica elettronica. Scrive poesie da quando aveva diciassette anni e come hobby legge e colleziona fumetti, in particolare Tex Willer. Nel 2019, pubblica in self-publishing il suo primo libro dal titolo Parole nella Tempesta. Guardare l’alba è il suo secondo libro.

What was Italian poetry like in the years of extraordinary historical, intellectual, aesthetic, and spiritual change between the 1860s and the Unification of Italy in the 1960s? In A Selection of Modern Italian Poetry in Translation Roberta Payne provides a bilingual collection of ninety-two poems by thirty-five Italian poets, including works of classicism and passionate decadentism, examples of crepuscularism, and poetry by Ungaretti, Montale, and Quasimodo. Payne pays particular attention to poets of the fifties and sixties, futurists, and female poets. She notes that the futurists, who have rarely been translated, were particularly important as they were truly original, attempting to develop new notions of word, line, sound, and phrase. Such new notions make translating them particularly challenging. She also offers a large sampling from poets of the fifties and sixties, many of whom have won the Viareggio Prize. Poems by women in this volume reflect diverse schools and directions while maintaining a distinctly female voice.
