A study was done by physiotherapist Nishad Abdul Latheef Majida on a group of seniors over the age of 65. The seniors were given a core strengthening exercise program for 6 weeks and the overall results demonstrated that the core strengthening program improved functional mobility, improved balance and decreased the risk for falls.
