Buku “Seri 3 IAEI Jawa Timur Menulis: Mencari Peluang Pembiayaan Syariah Berkelanjutan” ini terbagi menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu Bagian 1 Keuangan Komersial Islam, Bagian 2 Keuangan Sosial Islam, dan Bagian 3 Islamic Blended Finance, Integrasi Keuangan Komersial dan Sosial Islam. Buku ini fokus untuk mengumpulkan tulisan-tulisan terkait dengan isu-isu pendanaan pembangunan melalui keuangan syariah. Tema besar “Mencari Peluang Pembiayaan Syariah Berkelanjutan” dipilih sebagai upaya bagi IAEI Jawa Timur menjawab tantangan perekonomian yang ada, utamanya dalam hal pendanaan pembangunan. Selain dihadapkan pada upaya-upaya pencapaian target Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Indonesia juga dihadapkan pada target-target dari Paris Agreement yang harus dipenuhi. Dalam konteks ini pulalah, ekonomi dan keuangan syariah dituntut untuk dapat berkontribusi nyata dalam menjawab berbagai tantangan tersebut. Utamanya dalam mengembangkan instrumen yang tidak sekedar memenuhi prinsip syariah dan mampu membantu negara membiayai pembangunan, tetapi juga instrumen tersebut harus menghindari money creation. Instrumen ini tidak boleh hanya menyenangkan pasar atau investor semata, juga tidak boleh hanya menolong negara hari ini, tetapi juga tidak boleh membawa beban lemah ekonomi bagi pemimpin negara ini di masa depan. Sebagaimana buku seri sebelumnya, buku ini juga adalah legacy yang ingin ditinggalkan IAEI Jawa Timur untuk Indonesia. Berbagai tulisan yang ‘berserakan’ di media massa dari para penggiat IAEI Jawa Timur, kini terkumpul rapi kembali dalam buku seri ini. Buku ini juga akan menjadi suvenir kegiatan sekaligus hadiah dari IAEI Jawa Timur untuk Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia ke-78. In the early theoretical literature on Islamic monetary economics, many have discussed the role of money in Islamic economics system, while the number of empirical studies on Islamic monetary economics is a relatively new phenomenon. According to Islamic scholars, there are three main goals of Islamic monetary policy: a) economic well-being with full employment and optimum rate of economic growth; b) socioeconomic justice and equitable distribution of income and wealth and c) stability in the value of money. Hence, the Islamic monetary policy has several socioeconomic and ethical implications.
