"A beacon of guided inspiration to illuminate the dark night of the soul." -Donna Henes, author of The Queen of My Self "The lightning that streaks through these pages, evolving into luminous words, offers a message of sustaining comfort to all women and men who are in the throes of re-visioning their lives a way to 'take heart' and thrive." -Ione, author of Pride of Family, Nile Night, & Listening in Dreams " I feel there is a place for other women to enter and receive comfort from this story." -Normandi Ellis, author of Awakening Osiris, Dreams of Isis & Feasts of Light "Lightning Holds My Hand conveys to its readers the gift of a gift. In this thorough, exacting, intimate and vulnerable account of her own transformation, Andrea Gale Goodman honors, distills, and passes along what helps us to heal and change: dreams, oracles, guidance, friendship, nature and wisdom, all woven together and showing that 'the Universe leaves nothing out. It never drops a stitch or overlooks a voice.'" -Annie Finch, poet, author of Eve & Calendars

Solidarity Mobilizations In The Refugee Crisis written by Donatella della Porta and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-02-21 with Social Science categories.

This edited collection introduces conceptual innovations that critically engage with understanding refugee movements as part of the broader category of ‘poor people’s movements’. The empirical focus of the work lies on the protest events related to the so-called ‘long summer of migration’ of 2015. It traces the route followed by the migrants from the places of first arrival to the places of passage and on to the places of destination. Through qualitative and quantitative data, the authors map, within a cross-national comparative perspective, the wide set of actions and initiatives that are being created in solidarity with refugees who have made their journey seeking asylum to the European Union, either travelling across the Mediterranean Sea or through South Eastern Europe. It explores these cases from the perspective of social movement studies alongside critical studies on migration and citizenship.

The Heart Of “I AM” The Point Of Divine Origin (Parts One, Two and Three), is an unfolding journey, a study into the path of realization of the Divinity of Mankind. It reveals the secrets of Divinity, the truth within the Self, God made Manifest as the diversity of all life and as your Immortal Being. The Heart Of “I AM” The Point Of Divine Origin (Parts One, Two and Three), is a journey of the soul’s awakening evolution through Resurrection and Ascension. The soul’s journey is taken through Alpha and Omega, the Body and Blood of the Self, as God’s creation. This journey is the most comprehensive understanding of Alpha and Omega, starting from the Stargate of Father Mother God, through to the dimensions of Space formed forth as the Body through which the Blood, the knowing of the Self flows as Eternal Light. This unfolding fulfills the revelation of God, that all should know the truth of God.

In Search of the Bluebird: Melancholy Stories on Love and Terror, by author Franco DRivera, presents an eclectic and original assortment of imaginative portraits of the absurd, centered on the zeitgeist of the human condition in a reality side-stepped, fighting the iron grip of constrictions. In one story a man finds himself in love with a world that is terrified of him. In another, a man discovers the world only after living an entire life in isolation; then there is a lighthearted tale of schizophrenia and parenthood. DRivera has written a rare collection of stories showing the perspectives of the people who make up these odd and poignant portraits. This debut collection is populated by fascinating, multidimensional characters and filled with stark and realistic settings. Written in literary and polished prose, In Search of the Bluebird brings a new and original voice to the literary short-story form and offers up a thoroughly entertaining read that will please city dwellers or anyone who just loves a great short story well told.

Social Movements And Referendums From Below written by Della Porta, Donatella and has been published by Policy Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-09-27 with Political Science categories.

Over recent years, social movements formed in response to European neoliberal austerity measures have played an increasingly important role in referendums. This is the first book to bridge the gap between social movement studies and research on direct democracy. It draws on social movement theory to understand the nature of popular mobilisation in referendums. Co-authored by one of the world's leading authorities on social movements, the book uses unique case studies such as the referendum on independence in Scotland, the consultations on independence in Catalonia, the Italian referendum on water, the referendum on the Troika proposals in Greece and the referendum on the debt repayment in Iceland, to illustrate the ways the social movements that formed as a consequence of the 2008 financial crash have affected the referendums' dynamic and results. It also addresses the way in which participation from below has had a transformative impact on the organisational strategies and framing practices used in the campaigns. Looking at general issues of democracy, as well as the political effects of neoliberalism, this topical book is ideally suited to understand the reasons for the Brexit result and will be read by a wide audience interested in social movements, referendums and democratic innovation.
