As the title states, this work includes both short stories and poetry in various styles. Short stories include a tale about a house that has a very subtle way of eliminating its owners. Another story follows the route of a taxi driver as he makes his morning passenger pick-up and drop-off on one of the larger cities on the distant Planet of Mulgroon. Then there is a story about an alien on our world and the pursuit he faces from those who have come to believe that he is a vampire. Also included is a reworking of that familiar children's fairy tale, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, which provides some insight into the true tale and, of course, into Baby Bear's three older siblings. Poetry in this work includes several longer poems that I like to refer to as story poems. These are all written in free verse format and their main themes are from the science fiction genre. I have also included some regular non-rhyming poetry on various themes as well as numerous pieces of mostly rhyming lyrical poetry that cover such subjects as love and romance. Please read and enjoy!
