Short Stories, Part 3, a continuation of Short Story books Part 1 and Part 2. Called "Perpetual Eros", an homage to erotic love. Book V continues with seven stories, starting off with the oncoming spring in South Africa, as observed from the lounge, where abundant bird-life on a feeding tray in front of the main window has a paradisiacal background to the protagonist's secret love life. Life has changed for the poet, who has a lively exchange with his dedicated girlfriend. They enjoy writing love letters to each other. The stories revolve around the poet's spouse and his girlfriend, with who he cultivates ongoing high-level communication. Life has turned around. Physical expressions are enjoyed lively through the medium of virtual communication. With Aleta, the poet creates 'Azza Isle' - the virtual domain for their relationship, away from the daily humdrum in 'Fields of Desire'. Love play on an airplane in 'A Flight Back to Africa', is an exciting first for the poet. The lovers experience in'Inner Concorde of Opposites' that comparisons in love are just futile, as long as their libidos will work just fine. Book VI depicts 16 stories, with love seen from different angles and through strange coincidences, or are they? From love at a museum and another in the niche of an entrance to a Byzantine church, from self-pleasure to meet a sensual woman in a bookshop in Puerto de la Cruz. Love emerges between a couple searching for a pen, fallen out a library window in a modern suburb of Johannesburg, and the making of an erotic movie with Chelx, a talented designer and the poet's love interest.

While boarding an airplane from South Africa to Europe, the poet lives through a series of unusual magical experiences. Since his 'other half' has corresponded with him with E-mails, he senses an underlying urgency to meet again face-to-face. However, this urgency has been building up for many months of absence from their first meeting, but her calls strike a chord within his deeper inside when the bond of love calls for another physical togetherness. Suddenly the COVID-19 Pandemic hit Europe and due to its rapid spread Lockdowns had been enforced by governments. Here in Austria, in the heart of Vienna, the poet would experience a completely changed city, reminding him of a ghost town. During the First Lockdown, he traveled in empty trains and streets without people, for several weeks, musing and reflecting about this change of life in the city. At times, he loses the face of a friend through abstinence, he used to meet at St Stephen's Square, though friends would be in contact through the mobile phone, yet personal meetings are still most important to the poet and he misses them. Medical matters are questioned, as well as the products of inoculation, and besides information given seems controversial. In this situation, the poet remains at most times of the day at his writing desk and muses about his quality of life. During the Second Lockdown, matters conducting a usual daily life became for most people very difficult, to say the least. However, it seemed to stir up the poet's memory banks. During the time shopping for necessary food items, the poet observed extreme silence, except for the neighbor's knock on the door, checking on him, exchanging views on the government's offices of health, the wearing of masks, and the changing laws about inoculations. The poet's mind wandered back to his experiences in life, friends, his occupation with art, and remembrances that suddenly appeared in clarity.

The poet wishes to thank all the women who met him in a virtual and real life, being good listeners and also outstanding friends, sharing their time and interests, especially in times of sorrow and when he suffered a severe depression after the death of his poetry-partner and teacher of literature, who considered him as a friend and equal partner sharing interests in literature, poetry, and the arts. The poet will thank them all for he'll publish his work, now as the ink has dried, and it reflects their mature relationship, be it virtual or in tactile reality, the precious times of happiness, when they saved him spiritually and physically, returning from the dark abyss of a mental breakdown and suicidal thoughts. These thanks include everybody, who had contact with the poet especially during the critical years of '04 and '05, when the poet had to return mentally and physically to the world of the living, so that he could process his emotional world into poetry and publish it to the interested reader. Perhaps some people may have had a similar experience with a soul-mate, love partner, twin flame, and a close friend. Viva all mature women!

The poems were conceived and written in a first draft, between 2017 and 2019, while commuting on the local buses between Heiligenstadt and Klosterneuburg-Weidling, between the bus stop at the domicile and the endstation of bus 400 at Heiligenstadt. From there the poet would travel by expressway, either with the ÖBB train or the subway U4 to the city of Vienna. He'll enjoy quality time meeting friends, supporters, and Muses. The themes of the poems are the observance of city life; inner reflections about relationships; thoughts about humanity in the doldrums; dehumanization; the human catastrophe; hospitalization of the poet; recent friends and Muses; the loss of individuality; and self-reflections on a world of gender turmoil. The original drafts have been edited in an ongoing process and completed by 2023.
