Jake and Angie Cohen return in Sicarii Justice, another Remnant Rescue thriller, to lead a daring mission into the heart of the Caliphate where they try to slip hundreds of Christians out of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the noses of Mecca police. Thinly disguised as American billionaires on their first Muslim hajj, they dash from Mecca to the city of Medina and then to the port of Jeddah. Jake and Angie flee one step ahead of a Caliphate SWAT team intent on capturing them. Before the start of the Great Tribulation foretold in the Book of Revelation, a group of misguided Christians tries to alter the course of Biblical prophecy. Saul Rosen, their charismatic leader, envisions his wild-eyed followers as sicarii “dagger-men” who murdered first-century Romans. Rosen’s fanatical disciples are intent on killing the Antichrist before the mastermind begins his genocide of all Jews. In Jerusalem, the Antichrist—known to the world as the Prince of Rome or the Principe—survives an attempt on his life by the sicarii and the False Prophet proclaims his miraculous resurrection from the dead. The Remnant Rescue team has its own imaginative plans that include a low-orbiting space station and Israel’s captured arsenal of special atomic weapons. In all of these actions, the Sicariis have their own schemes to disrupt Biblical history. Their twisted plans are not revealed until the last pages of Sicarii Justice!

Featuring boardroom intrigue, masquerade balls, gondola chases, street gangs, and shapeshifting mages, Ryan Van Loan's The Justice in Revenge continues the Fall of the Gods series as Buc and Eld turn from pirates to politics and face the deadliest mystery of their career. The island nation of Servenza is a land of flint and steel, sail and gearwork, of gods both Dead and sleeping. It is a society where the wealthy few rule the impoverished many. Determined to change that, former street-rat Buc, along with Eld, the ex-soldier who has been her partner in crime-solving, have claimed seats on the board of the powerful Kanados Trading Company. Buc plans to destroy the nobility from within—which is much harder than she expected. Stymied by boardroom politics and dodging mages at every turn, Buc and Eld find a potential patron in the Doga, ruler of Servenza. The deal: by the night of the Masquerade, unmask whoever has been attempting to assassinate the Doga, thereby earning her support in the halls of power. Blow the deadline and she’ll have them deported to opposite ends of the world. Armed with Eld’s razor-sharp sword and Buc’s even sharper intellect, the dynamic duo hit the streets just as the shadow religious conflict between the Gods begins to break into open warfare. Those closest to Buc and Eld begin turning up with their throats slit amid rumors that a hidden mastermind is behind everything that’s going wrong in Servenza. Facing wrathful gods, hostile nobles, and a secret enemy bent on revenge, Buc and Eld will need every trick in their arsenal to survive. Luckily, extra blades aren’t the only things Buc has hidden up her sleeves. At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.

Gideon’s Sword—Remnant Rescue Series | Book 3 begins immediately after the Rapture when the multi-national crew of the International Space Station (ISS) watches atomic wars destroy most of the United States and their aftermath kill one-fourth of the world’s population. National allegiances on the space station soon split between the majority-Russian crew and two friends—an American and Israeli. When a Russian resupply ship approached the ISS with food and supplies, astronauts Ryan Legend and Gabriel Weiss take drastic action that saves their lives. They dub their new home the Blue Star. The two astronauts’ rescue from space comes from an unlikely place when the Remnant Rescue organization rebuilds a rocket found in an aerospace museum and launch three of their own astronauts to the Blue Star. What the two castaway astronauts think is a rescue mission turns out to be an ingenious space shield as Jews enter a time period known as Jacob’s Trouble or the Great Tribulation. Gideon’s Sword is also the name of a space platform from which captured Israeli atomic missiles with non-lethal electromagnetic pulse (EMP) warheads rain down on Imperium forces. A Syrian mechanized division, a strategic fortress, and the rebuilt city of Babylon all become targets. Not knowing the source of the mysterious attacks from space, the Imperium’s kingdoms turn on each other in a fierce nuclear exchange. Before the astronauts return home, they save a Christian from a space cruiser recently returned from an expedition to Mars in a race to dodge a satellite programmed to collide with what remains of the ISS and kill everyone.

Mars Lottery written by Michael Vetter and has been published by Michael Vetter this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2022-09-09 with Fiction categories.

Mars Lottery is a modern-day Christian allegory about taking the message of the Gospel where no human has gone before. Jesus proclaimed what is known as the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 and later in Acts 1:8 at a time when nobody dreamed that the Gospel could go farther than “…the uttermost part of the earth.” However, God’s Word is not restrained by terrestrial geography. God reaches out with the light of the Gospel to every living human in need of a Savior, whether they be on the Earth, Moon, Mars, or on a spaceship far from Earth. This is a fictional story about Josh Aikin whom God calls to share the Gospel. He struggles with many unusual, controversial, inconvenient, risky, and even dangerous opportunities to evangelize. Like all believers, however, he must face situations in his path and decide to obey God or do nothing and stay safely with his friends, home, community, and church. His circumstances are extreme, but his choices are not much different from those that you and I face each day. Are we willing to be used by God, wherever it takes us?

The year is 35 A.D. Centurion Linius Crispus Valerius is a Christian in the Roman Army assigned to a garrison in Caesarea Maritima, Judea. Linius stands out as an exceptional officer admired by his men and his legionary commander for his integrity. When an edict from Rome orders every soldier to swear an oath to Emperor Tiberius as deity or face severe punishment, the region’s military commander is in a quandary. He know that Linius would never take the oath, so he transfers his best centurion to an outpost in Asia Minor where the governor ignores reckless imperial pronouncements. After he settles with this family in Galatia, Centurion Linius Crispus learns that Emperor Tiberius is dead and receives a mysterious summons to Rome. Linius receives senatorial orders to take the annual payroll to four legions waiting in Pontus. The mission turns treacherous when pirates capture the payroll, Linius is imprisoned and released, and he finds that the four legions are gone. The Quiet Centurion begins a fictional series that traces the lives of a Christian centurion, his family, and a host of characters during 35-74 A.D. These years overlap and intertwine with the missionary journeys of the Apostle Paul as the Roman Empire is turned upside down.

Politics Conflict And Movements In First Century Palestine written by Richard A. Horsley and has been published by Wipf and Stock Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-09-28 with Religion categories.

This volume brings together groundbreaking essays that laid the foundations of several of Horsley’s later works. The initial aims of these essays were, first, to ferret out evidence from our sources, primarily from the histories of Josephus, evidence for the lives of ordinary people living in Judean and Galilean villages. A second purpose was to explore as precisely as possible the fundamental conflictual division between the Roman, Herodian, and high priestly rulers in Palestine and the Judean and Galilean villagers they ruled. A third purpose was to explore more particularly how the popular and scribal opposition to the rulers was manifested in a remarkable diversity of movements and their leaders. And the fourth purpose, entailed in the first two, was to wriggle out from under some of the controlling constructs of New Testament/biblical studies that had been hiding the considerable complexity of the historical context. This was necessary even to begin to discern more precisely the fundamental political—economic—religious conflict between the rulers and the villagers manifested in a diversity of social movements attested in the sources.
