Excerpt from A Simplified Grammar of the Danish Language The present work, in conformity with the plan of the series of which it forms a part, addresses itself principally to those, whose grammatical knowledge of other tongues, whether dead or living, enables them readily to master a new language, provided only that its essential and specific characteristics are clearly presented to them. In attempting to fulfil these requirements, we have endeavoured, as far as the limited dimensions of the volume permitted, to indicate the more important of the numerous points of affinity existing between modern Danish (Dano-Norwegian) and its old northern mother-tongue ; and, among these, the origin and process of development of the Affix-Article have been more specially noticed, as bearing upon the most marked characteristic of the Scandinavian tongues. Internet needs a globally acceptable language, which is simple, accurate, fast in typing and abundance in message delivery on monitor. Languages developed from simple forms to complex forms. But, in the computer age, the complex form of language need reduce to the simplest form. English could become the frame with which a globally acceptable language can be built. However, English is not perfect: 1. Some English words are non-phonetic spelling. 2. Articles reduce speeding. 3. Verbs have irregular forms without good reasons. 4. Most of verbs need to add "s" for the third person, which could be omitted to save time. 5. Letter "s" in plural form of nouns could be omitted also. The aim of Singlish is to absorb good stuffs from the world language pool. If one person can save three minutes from Singlish per day, the total timesaving by 7 billion world population equals to 20 times from Jesus was born till today.
