Esta singela obra que publico faz parte de uma coleção que estou lançando sobre o Oriente Médio. Em especial os lugares que visitei em maio de 2023 pela caravana da LAUF IM TALI com cerca de 50 peregrinos brasileiros onde fomos visitar as terras bíblicas. Neste volume dediquei-me a fazer uma descrição sobre o monte Sinai do Mosteiro de Santa Catarina e ao final uma discussão mais ampla sobre o segundo candidato a ser o verdadeiro monte Sinai, o do golfo de Aqaba na Arábia Saudita. Aqui contém meus registros fotográficos desta viagem que começou no Cairo até o Sinai pelo deserto da península. Quem pretende viajar e escalar o Sinai, este livro vai ser de valia, como também aos monoteístas [cristãos, judeus e muçulmanos] que estudam a Bíblia e querem se aprofundar nas coisas de Deus. Um capítulo trato da minha experiência espiritual que tive no Monte Sinai. Durante um ano e meio eu pensava todos os dias como seria esta minha escalada no Sinai ao mesmo tempo em que sentia que durante esta peregrinação de duas semanas pelas terras bíblicas eu teria um encontro com Deus e não deu outra, e quis o Senhor que fosse no Sinai de forma surpreendente. Minha jornada com Deus começou em 1985 e quase quarenta anos depois Javé me presenteou com esta peregrinação. A todo instante uma voz dizia dentro de mim diante de tudo que via: Este é meu presente para você. Por esta razão desde aquele primeiro dia da peregrinação, até hoje ainda derramo lágrimas todos os dias de alegria. “Aconselho ninguém a ir a Terra Santa, vai que você tem um encontro com Deus??”
